She offered a polite smile before hurrying out. The second the door shut behind her, Armstrong turned sharply toward his wardrobe. His steps were brisk, his hands quick as he unlocked it. He slid open the back panel. A hidden compartment. To the untrained eye, it looked like a single layer, but Armstrong knew better. He reached inside, pulling out a thick document, his lips curling into a smug smile. It was still there. --- Liam’s Estate Suzanne sat on the couch, sipping her drink while watching her son play. Charlie was growing fast. His second birthday was just a few months away, and she could already see the changes in him—his laughter louder, his steps steadier, his words clearer.

“You want to compete with me for a man? It won’t be that easy. CEO Dante will be mine.” Lani quickly packed her belongings and went to return the room she had rented. She had no idea that her room key had been switched. Lani glanced at the key card for room 6666, feeling a bit confused. Yesterday, she remembered booking room 9999, but today the key card said 6666, and her clothes were in that room, so she assumed she must have made a mistake.

"Then what are we waiting for? I have to go in there, right?" "Yes, get inside here and I'll take you to laundry room as if I'm doing laundry. Once we're in laundry room, you can exit through the back door." I nodded. “But remember, Skylar. Once you escape, you won’t be able to come back unless Max finds you. You know what I mean, right?” “Yes, I know. I promise I won’t come back.”

I just watched him quietly and said nothing. He sighed and shook his head in resignation. “I intend to have someone better take over the shares. Jelena and I… intend to move our family to a safer territory and spend the rest of our lives there.” Jelena shot me a smug look and smiled like she had won, but I ignored her. As for Katie, she was seething because Scott had been avoiding her for the past few days. “You’re not on the list of werewolves who are scheduled to move!”

Then, I push her inside the fitting room. "Tina, you're next okay?" She just nod and look at me. So much joy can be seen to her eyes. I smile and wait for her mother to come out. —🌸

A massive support beam tore through the ceiling, pinning the door shut. ​The room groaned again, deeper this time. ​"We’re out of time," Julian said, his eyes fixed on the countdown clock on the wall. 02:14. ​"There’s an escape pod behind the main rack," Chloe gasped, pointing to a circular hatch hidden behind a tangle of cables. "It’s a maintenance unit. Only seats two."

At this moment, on this cold, rainy night, all the love, all the fantasies, all the grievances from the past five years turned to ashes. "Is it true?" I asked softly, my fingers tracing the foolish, love-struck version of myself on the screen. "Of course. Don't believe me? Go check his study’s secret room. The original recordings are in the safe. I have to find a way out of here . I wasn't tied up ,but the room had a four post bed ... and thank goodness I spotted the bathroom. on my way there I spotted my ring and pendant. I couldn't help but cry, but I had to be strong and figure out where I was... so that I could devise an escape plan. Once I was done I stepped out only to met by a kind woman with a black and white uniform. The woman had her hair tied up in a bun ; she looked like she was in her late thirties , and she had on black slacks and a white dress shirt. She was a yellow bone with light brown eyes and dark brown hair .

Then the ground gave way, revealing a narrow tunnel flanked by steel rungs and the scent of scorched air. Riven cracked his knuckles. "After you, sunshine." --- Inside, the air was cooler, but wrong. Filtered. Chemical. Lights flickered from dormant terminals. The walls hummed with hidden life. Every step echoed. Bella's comm lit up with Elodie's voice. "Motion sensors disabled. You're clear down to Sublevel Two. After that... no guarantees." "Copy," she replied. "Keep the escape route warm." They split into two groups. Group One: Bella, Xavier, Talia.

She smiled back, waving her hand as I left the hall. I walked over to the supply closet, gathered the cleaning tools and fresh linens I needed, and headed straight up to the master's wing. I pushed open the first heavy door, entering the space that belonged to Valerius. A familiar chill ran down my spine. As usual, the room was dimly lit. Since they were supposed to be thousands of miles away in Russia, I had planned to escape through the back door tonight. Once the rooms were flawlessly presentable, I slipped out of their suffocating rooms and made my way down to the gardens to meet Leo. The crisp evening air felt like a lifeline.
