I reach for him but feel quite suddenly woozy and, before I can hold my child, I collapse back against my pillows. __________ Hi. Dear readers Thank you for your support and love for Accidental Surrogate. Book 1 of the story has ended at Chapter 291. But because of your enthusiasm and anticipation, we wanted to present you new stories after Rafe's birth. According to the suggestion of the platform editor, the content of book 2 will be updated in this one, so you can continue reading :)

“Why?” “They were waiting for the Creator to awaken.” Elara glanced at herself. “You mean me.” “Yes.” “Why?” “Because they couldn't enter this world while you were asleep.” Elara looked toward Lyra. “And now that I'm awake?” “They can.” The sky suddenly cracked. A massive hand emerged from the fire symbol. Flames poured from the clouds. The academy courtyard erupted into chaos as students ran for safety. Mira shouted orders while teachers created barriers around the remaining buildings.

I pulled Lena towards her and hugged her tightly letting Lena cry on my shoulder. "Shhh, we'll get through this Lena, don't worry" Jake said softly. "Yeah, we're all here for you too Lena, anything you need" Hayley says sincerely while the others nod. Lena didn't say anything she just kept crying on my shoulder, so I tuned back into Headmaster Dean and heard him say how the other academy would be joining ours to make one thus resulting in there being an extra class for all. Alphas, Betas and Gammas would all be doing another training class while the others would do an extra gym class.

Hey everyone Thank you so much for reading book two in the surviving my fate series. I am currently working on book three Surviving My Blood as well as some other books in the series. Surviving my blood will start having chapters posted on a weekly basis and the first chapter is already up. It will also be the final book in Kaydence and Dominics story as the other books will focus on the other Allied Alphas and them finding their mates. I am also working on book two to For the Love of Death which I have titled For the Children of Death and that will also have weekly chapters posted. I am also planning to work on a murder myster novel that my grandmother inspired me to write which is called M

"Maybe you'll learn something. Maybe you won't. But you'll be alive to have the chance." The academy reopened three days after the battle. The students had been sheltered during the fighting, kept safe in reinforced buildings with heavy guard. But they'd heard the sounds, seen the aftermath. "Is everyone okay?" Maya asked Luna anxiously. "No. Lots of people died. But we won. The academy stays open." Luna looked tired, older than her five years. "The scary part is it's not really over. Helena's just one Alpha. There are probably more who feel the same way."

The place I’d left with Isla in my arms, thinking we were coming back victorious. “We failed,” I said. The words were ash. “I failed.” “No,” Caelan said. “We’re breathing. She’s breathing. That’s not failure. That’s round one.” I wanted to believe him. “We get there,” I said. “We heal, then after we find her. That’s it.” “That’s it,” Caelan said. Elias’s voice cut through. “Academy!” I looked up. The hills parted. The Academy of Blackstone rose out of the valley like it always had. Stone walls fifty feet high. Towers with silver roofs. The main gate, iron and oak, big enough to march an army through.

"This graduating class faced challenges no other class has faced. They survived a conspiracy. Exposed corruption. Changed policy. They didn't just attend this Academy. They transformed it." "I'm particularly proud of one student. Rank two. Who will speak to you now. About survival. About truth. About hope. Please welcome Elias Caelum." Applause. Some enthusiastic. Some polite. Some reluctant. I stood. Walked to the podium. Faced hundreds of people. My hands shook. My heart pounded. Took a breath. Started. "My name is Elias Caelum. Three months ago, my name was Eli Arden. That name was a lie. A necessary lie to survive. But still a lie."

I leaned back against the wall, letting out a quiet breath. So this was the academy. Not exactly welcoming. My mind immediately shifted into survival mode. Four kidnappers had brought me here, but they weren’t the only people around. Footsteps echoed faintly through the corridor every few minutes. Guards. Lots of them. Escaping blindly would be a mistake. Better to listen first. Understand the place. Figure out who held the real power here. I closed my eyes again, pretending to sleep as voices approached down the corridor. Two men stopped just outside my cell.

You didn't starve to death. I could not take it anymore. "Mom, do you know how I've been surviving this semester? On handouts from my roommate and digging through trash for leftover food! And today, if my advisor hadn't been kind enough to buy me a meal, I probably would've collapsed and ended up in the hospital!" I thought hearing about what I had been through might change her mind. Instead, she let out a scornful laugh. "So what, you're trying to brag to me about your good luck? How you ran into a nice roommate and a nice advisor?

"War with the humans. Donovan's father is planning to use our syndicate's connections to strike first. But I won't be the weapon they use." Joshua's eyes narrowed. "Where will you go? Aldrich controls most territories now. You'd be a fugitive." A smile stretched across my face. "The one place a girl would never go. The place Donovan would never think to look for me." It took him a moment, but when realization hit, his eyes widened. "The Alpha Academy? Have you lost your mind?" "I'm going to do what no woman has ever done. I'm going to survive the Academy."
