Gabe’s POV: That afternoon, Ailina invited me to the abandoned factory. After I arrived, she introduced her plan to me. “This place will be our base. I have bought this factory. I will find someone to renovate it. After our team members settle here, we begin our training.” I looked at the factory and nodded. It was big enough. She looked at me and smiled. “I leave this matter to you. Look, this is the decoration drawing I asked someone to make.”

Ivy ignored Frederick and instead brought him to the bus stop. Frederick sighed helplessly. When other people got a luxury car, they took girls for a ride. But what about him? Linder was indeed the most famous producer of packaged food. Their factories were everywhere, and the place where Lydia worked was the center of it. The five-story building was probably where the company was founded, so the Reino family was reluctant to move it. The same goes for the bakery behind it. It may be in town, but they run the factory well. There were no complaints from the neighbors or the government.

Mike nodded, signalling Lucas to drive to the factory. The journey from the city centre took over an hour and thirty minutes later, as the factory was located far from residential areas due to how big it was. After about an hour, Lucas drove through the gates of Crawford Industries. "I haven’t been here in a while," Nathan murmured, looking around. The worker handed Celena a document and said, "Hello, Ms. Stone. We work for the Drunham City Connoisseurs. "We received a report that something is wrong with the equipment and the quality of the materials used in your factory. That includes an environment that's not up to standard. "Your factory is not allowed to carry out any productions. If you have any questions, you can file an appeal with The Connoisseurs. This is the notice for your closure."

This is war. The compound moves fast. Men are grabbing weapons. Cars lining up. Engines starting. Controlled chaos. Exactly how I like it. I stand over the table with Declan, the layout of the factory pulled up in front of us. “Three entries,” he says. “Front is open. The back loading bay has a cover. The whole first floor of the factory was composed of big machines and they were running smoothly. Each row had twenty workers who were packing the stuffed toys neatly in boxes.

I stepped through and looked around. Leilani followed. “What is it?” “Factory,” I said. “Used to be, at least. Not sure what they made.” The main factory floor stretched on for maybe the length of a football field. There were once machines all over, but they were long gone. Clutter, trash, and debris stood in their place, trash from years of kids coming to hide away from their parents, junkies and homeless people looking for a place to crash, and who knew what else. I began to walk inside.
