The Farm

Avery Verlace apo ng mayamang Senior Verlace ang isa sa may ari ng malawak na lupain sa Quezon Province. Hindi inaasahan ni Avery ang pagkawala ng mga lolo't lola niya na nag-aruga sa kanya mula ng mawalan ng magulang. Hindi nila inaasahan na may maghahabol ng mana ang anak sa labas ng lolo nila na si Tita Cora. Hindi akalain ni Avery na mahuhulog siya sa pamangkin nito. Sa sobrang pagmamahal nito sa lalaki na ibigay niya ang pagkabirhen niya dito. Ngunit nalaman niya ang plano ng magtiyahin na sadyang paibigin siya para makamit nila ang lupa pinamana sa kanya. Labis na nasaktan ang dalaga nilisan niya ang farm na para sa kanya hindi para sumuko sa laban sinimulan ni Atticus at Tita Cora niya. Nag-aral ang babae ng agrikultura sa ibang bansa dahil advance dito. Para sa pagbabalik nito at mapalayas na niya ng tuluyan ang magtiyahin. Para hindi nito kailanganin si Atticus aminado ang babae magaling ito sa agrikultura marami natulong ang lalaki sa sakahan simula ng dumating ito ngunit hindi makakapayag si Avery na mawala sakanya ang lupain na para sa kanya. Ngunit na lusaw ang tinayong pader ng babae para sa lalaki ng makita niya ito kasama ang mapapangasawa tila nakaramdam siya ng kirot na hindi siya ang na pili pakasalanan nito. Maiibalik ba nila ang dati nila pag-iibigan o mananatili na ito nakabaon sa limot? Gaano katapang si Avery para ipaglaban ang lupa at pagmamahal niya?
