I stop moving forward when I see a sort of legion in suits and ties crossing the hall. “Shit...” June swears. I furrow my eyebrows as I look at her. She clearly looks bored. “There’s Westwood Senior.” she moans, pointing at him with her eyes. Damon's father. He chats with another man as he walks towards the elevator. I don't have time to watch it anymore long since my gaze is automatically attracted to his son. He has his fiancée on his arm. She makes me a little hello and the brown guy gives me a quick glance.

I gulped down nothing, my expression immediately becoming serious. I took a deep breath and tightened the towel around myself: “I’m not completely human,” I revealed and Atlas’s playful expression disappeared instantly. “What?” “I’m half werewolf.” I swallowed. “My father was a werewolf. I sighed. “Sweetheart, you look dazzling.” My mom said coming up to me, she kissed me on the cheek. “Thanks, mom,” I said smiling. I might as well just push my thoughts aside and focus on what was happening. My worries weren't going to solve anything “Where’s dad?” I asked. She turned to look around behind her. “I don't know, he had been standing there with Maxwell just now.” My eyes went to the man referred to as Maxwell, he was an older man who belonged to the werewolf council. He was standing with Theo and the man from nights ago, the one who had killed Theo’s dad and had tried blackmailing me.

Are you related to Yegor Sadler?” At this remark, James smiled calmly while Truett nodded immediately. “Do you know my father?” “Heh, Yegor Sadler is your father?” Zenithal Roc Matron exclaimed, “This is such a coincidence!” James leaned closer to Truett and whispered, “Your dad is indeed a social butterfly, knowing almost every powerhouse from Tai Chi to these powerhouses of the Dawn Supernatural Power.” Truett smiled wryly. “My mom scolded him quite a bit because of this.”
