I am caressing her and feeling guilty to make her exhausted when she has a fever. My heart races as I hold Abby in my arms, our bodies entwined on the bed. I can't help but feel a sense of guilt for pushing our physical boundaries when she's already battling a fever. Gently stroking her hair, I whisper, "I'm sorry for tiring you out during your fever, Abby."

“God, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to!” “It’s alright,” Zayn replied, shaking his head before heading to the bathroom to wash his face. When he returned, he advised, “You got a cold. Take some meds.” Faye rubbed her nose and shook her head. “I’m fine. Some rest is all I need.” “That won’t do. It looks like it’s starting up already, so you really need to start taking meds and see a doctor before it turns into a fever—” Before he could finish, Faye shivered. Her face was turning red. With one look, Zayn knew her fever had begun. He placed his hand on her forehead for a second and quickly confirmed his suspicion.
