“You have a fever. You didn’t know about it?” Fever? This is the first time I suffered from this sickness. “I never knew that this was the symptoms of fever… I never got a fever before,” I softly answered. Anna looked at me with shock. “Are you even a human?! I am sure that everyone has experienced being sick before.” I let out a tiring laugh as I closed my eyes and shook my head. “Aside from physical pain, starvation, and dehydration, I never experienced another sickness.” Anna sighed in envy. “Then that’s good. You have a tough immune system. However, why the hell are you burning so high?! Are you made from fire or something?!”

“What do you want, Mr. Fergerson?” Caleb looked up at her dazedly, thinking he was hallucinating her presence. Then, he reached out and wrapped his arms around Penny’s waist. “Don’t kick me out.” Penny tried pushing him away, but he did not budge an inch. It was then she realized Caleb was running a high fever. She placed a hand against his forehead and hurriedly asked Lucy to bring her some fever reducers. “You two, summon a doctor. He’s running a fever.” Caleb wrapped his arms around her waist, and he shut his eyes when he realized she was not going to push him away anymore.

KELLY The room had grown colder, though Nevaeh burned like a star in my arms. Her breath came in shallow gasps, her skin slick with sweat. I pressed a damp cloth to her forehead, but it was useless. A normal body temperature above 38 degrees will cause headaches and fatigue, you wouldn’t be able to stand. How are you still walking in here with a fever this high?!" Serena was stunned, staring at the nurse, "What did you say? 40 degrees?!" "Yes!" The nurse handed the thermometer to Serena, then hurriedly ran out, "Your fever is too high, I’ll go get the doctor!" Serious fever. Panic started crawling up my spine. I ran to the bathroom, grabbed a towel, soaked it in cold water, and came back to press it gently against his forehead.

And her fever makes her too weak. Yara is not a sickly person. She will only have fever and colds once in a blue moon but when it happens, it's worst than being sick everyday.

Ashley slowly opened her eyes as her eyelids squinted trying to adjust to the bright light before fully opening them. My cough became worst as my body started to feel tired and the heat that I feel makes me uncomfortable and grumpy. "You okay, Keatton?" Mommy Elise asked. I shook my head, "No, Mom. I feel like I am having a fever," she then extended her arms at me as Mommy Elise placed the back of her hands at my forehead. My palms and my foot started to heat in an awful way.

"As if I could leave the mansion," she retorted. A tiny smile twitched at the corner of his mouth, but the smile seemed weak because of his fever. "You're right, without my permission, you can't leave this place!" 'Come on, is this really the time to talk about that?!' thought Serenity. "Do you have any fever medicine? Your temperature is pretty high, you need medicine!" she said. He probably got a fever because of last night's rain.
