Torn From The Bond

Torn From The Bond

BLURB: My life has never been my own to live or control. At age eighteen, I am sold to the Lycan King by my father – a man everyone fears for his cruelty and respects for his power. Cast into a world ruled by his steel-hard will, I am doomed to be nothing more than a servant in his palace. Tristan Price is everything I detest: cold and unfeeling, arrogant and merciless – and completely out of my reach. But each time he's close, my unfaithful heart beats faster, and I don't know if I want to flee from him or into his arms. Is this my fate? To be the servant of a man who treats me as nothing more than property? Or is there something more than that behind those icy eyes, maybe I'm just delusional. Maybe escaping is the better option, especially after I find out that I'm pregnant with the child of the most hated man in town.

Exiled From the Pack

Exiled From the Pack

On the eve of his Alpha succession ceremony, my fiancé Hunter prepared lavish gifts for all the distinguished guests and had Freya distribute them. Freya obliged with a smile. Then, when she reached me, her gaze swept over me with nothing but contempt. “Move aside. This isn’t for you.” She tossed an exile notice at my face. “You’re just a she-wolf who likes to seduce. Think you deserve an Alpha’s gift? Dream on. You’re not welcome here. Get out of our pack!” At that moment, the guests opened the gift boxes Freya handed out. Inside, alongside a rare blue moonstone, were photos of me in intimate moments with other Alpha males from different packs. In an instant, I became the pack’s traitorous, unfaithful woman. My face darkened as I stared at Hunter. “You’re really going to exile me from the pack?”

Love From The Heart

Love From The Heart

Everyone knew I was hopelessly in love with Hendrick Sam, willing to sacrifice my dignity for him. In the two years we were together, he would drop everything and leave me in the hospital whenever his “one true love” called. People mocked me, saying, “Chloe, you must really enjoy being a doormat.” I just smiled and stayed silent. Later, when he was on his deathbed, he asked, “Chloe, did you ever really love me?” I turned my back on him. Because it was never him I loved, it was his heart.

Minor errors here and there with the characters names getting switched around or repeated. Read this in a day. Great story. The MC what a roller-coaster he went through. 5/5 ending, for ME! I do have to ask will there be a sequel? Is this the end or did you post on another site author?
Kristi Murphy
I really liked this book. The author demonstrated good imagination.....right up to the end. That's where you lost me. I'm lost as to why you would allow his childhood sweetheart to live through the final destruction only to kill her when he finds out she is the only one he loved that is still alive.

Waking Up From Lies

Waking Up From Lies

I was not expecting to pick the wrong man to marry even after I had a chance to redo my life. In my previous life, I chose to marry James Howard, my then fiance. But he cheated on me with Verde Sala, a fake heiress, for three years. They even had a child together. For her sake, he broke my legs so that I would hand over my role as the principal dancer to her. This time, I chose to marry Elwood Howard, James’s uncle. I thought that this meant that I had escaped my fate and could fulfill my dreams, but on the day the principal dancer was supposed to be picked, I got into an accident again. After learning about this, Elwood sent Verde to jail, even if it meant offending all of the powerful people in the city. I was touched and thought that I had made the right choice in this life. That lasted for five years until I heard Elwood’s conversation with our son. “Dad, Verde said that you only married Mom so that you could provide a letter of forgiveness as the victim’s family. “Since Verde is out, could you divorce Mom? I want Verde to be my mother.” Upon hearing that, Elwood remembered my trust in him and shook his head. “No. I’ve betrayed your mother by destroying the evidence and giving Verde a new identity to avoid being indicted, so I’m going to make it up to her for the rest of her life. “She will always be my wife. Don’t ever say such things to your mother and make her sad.” The pain from before could not compare to the pain in my heart at that moment. Our marriage was just a scheme to protect Verde? Elwood only loved Verde? And my son was the same? If that was the case, I did not want Elwood anymore. Nor my son.

I'm in Survival Hell, You're in Party Heaven

I'm in Survival Hell, You're in Party Heaven

For as long as I can remember, my family and I have been living in an underground basement that's completely shut off from the outside world. My parents have told me that the zombie apocalypse is terrorizing the outside world. The air is completely plagued with the zombie virus, and we'll die if we ever leave the basement. In order to save the supplies—which are already dwindling, to begin with—I've starved myself to the point I'm all skin and bones despite being only 18 years old. When I realize that there's only one last can of food left, I leave behind a suicide note. "Mom, Dad, now there's one less mouth to feed. You'll last a few more days." After that, I slit my wrist right away. Once I'm dead, my soul phases through the thick and heavy metal door. Bright sunlight illuminates the entire world. It's a beautiful, peaceful world filled with greenery. I can even hear birds chirping in the distance. Mom, Dad, and a bunch of people are throwing a barbecue party on the lawn. The mouth-watering smell of food being grilled permeates the air. So, it turns out that the zombie apocalypse is just a lie that's designated to trap me inside the fortress. I'm the only one who has died in this sunny, peaceful world.

Call Me a Jinx, Cry When I'm Gone

Call Me a Jinx, Cry When I'm Gone

After undergoing a gallbladder removal surgery, I get discharged while having to hunch over in pain. In fact, I have to go home while attached to a surgical drainage bag. Before I even reach the front door, I hear Rayne Randall, my sister who's ten years younger than me, wailing at the top of her lungs. "Dad, there's a splinter in my finger! It hurts so much!" "Let me blow your booboo away for you, Ray. It won't hurt anymore once I'm done." As soon as I open the front door, I see my dad rolling his eyes at me. His previously happy disposition quickly morphs into an annoyed one. "Why are you home this late? It's just a small surgery, isn't it? Look at how much of a wuss you're being! Ray wants to have fish for dinner, so you'd better take your ass to the market and buy a fresh one for her!" My surgical wound hurts so much that I keep trembling in pain. I can barely move an inch. Having noticed that I'm not moving at all, he chucks a slipper at me right away. "Just go! What's with that gloomy look of yours? It's all thanks to you that our luck is gone! Every time I see a jinx like you walking around, I feel even unluckier!" As far as I remember, my dad keeps calling me a jinx who has ruined his family. Now that I've had a close brush with death, I don't want to keep living in this world like a pathetic loser. In that case, I might as well let everyone in this family have a real dose of my misfortune.

From Vows To Love

From Vows To Love

Lilienne Winslow "I'm a mess of warm chaos but I won't let you see it in my eyes, I smile every time but I won't let you see the sadness behind them ,it's pathetic" Rowan Sinclair "Your chaos doesn't frighten me; it draws me in. you wear a smile that dances like sunlight through shadows, but know this, my love: I see beyond the facade. Behind those shimmering eyes lies a world of storms, and it's not pathetic, it's beautifully human. Let me be your anchor in this tempest; let me cradle your sadness and transform it into something radiant. Even when you feel lost, I'll be right here, holding you tight." Neither of them ever wished for the union of marriage, not the weight of a promise, that felt more like chains. two souls adrift, untamed, untouched by love's hand.Yet fate, with silent steps, wove them into one, In a bond neither sought, but neither could withstand. He, a man of steel, a man of few words and of unshaken resolve, She, a spirit of grace, a woman of quiet strength, carrying wounds, no one cared to see. In the quiet vows exchanged, hearts kept their guard,But in the silence between them, emotions sparked, unbarred. In his silence, she found a space to breathe. In her fragility, he found something worth protecting.
