The Gingerbread Man Read Aloud Novels & Stories

He was carrying a children's book in his hand. "Which one should I read you?" he asked her, completely ignoring my presence. "Cinderella," Penny beamed. Zavion opened the book and squinted at the content list. I observed him quietly as he flipped the pages over to the Cinderella story. The man cleared his throat and begin reciting.

Jane began, “You don’t need a cookie this time of night.” Considering her remark and thinking about the extra weight he had been putting on as he aged, he realized she was right and put the lid back on the jar. “Tomorrow,” he whispered. “I shall see you tomorrow, dear Ginger Snap.”

" Rhoda pauses. "I realized I couldn't touch her with my hands and she couldn't even see or hear me, so all do the same." Rhoda shivers." I saw an image of a person carrying a sharp curved metal who looks like a head hunter." Rhoda looked and gazed at all her kids reading her face intently. "The man in white robes wanted to grab me, but the image of a person in a black long gown approaches me similarly to how the man in white robes did. He shows me a scenario of people's lives on Earth." Rhoda slowly narrates the stories so that the children can understand them.

**** FIFTEEN YEARS AGO My eyes shut wide open after an almost sleepless night, and it was not because i hardly sleep the night to Christmas, it was because i laid there, but i couldn't. But nearing the morning, I'm glad i did and waking up to see such cheer from my windows did nothing but remind me of all i lost before my door opened. Nana swung in with a tray that her mittens held firmly, a tray of baked gingerbreads with frosting -only my mum did that. "Ho ho ho" A familiar voice fell down my ears as i jolted from my bed. "Is that? No. He's not-" I argued with myself while my grandma just stared.

Ginger rolled her eyes and asserted confidently, "Mommy says if you brush your teeth properly, you won't get cavities!" Caleb hobbled out, feeling more wretched than he had ever felt in his life. As he settled onto the sofa, he fixed a stern gaze on Ginger. "Who sent you here?" he inquired. "The heavens did!" Ginger shot back. "What's your mommy's name?" "I already told you. My mommy's name is Little Fairy." …

Breathe in one two three four five Breathe out one two three four five Breathe in one two three four five Breathe out one two three four five Breathe in one two three four five Breathe out one two three four five Picking her spoon carefully with her still trembling hands, making sure that she didn't drop it to make a fool of herself with her still shivering hands in an attempt to begin her meal, Gretel carefully watched the way that the metal made itself into the grey mush, the harsh surface of it seeping into the opaque mess and excuse of nourishment.

Jane’s voice trembled as her fingers absentmindedly traced the gingerbread. “Do you remember this?” Alpha Danny pulled out a tin box from his pocket. When he opened it, the faint fragrance of gardenias wafted out. Inside was a flattened biscuit, wrapped in paper with a drawing of a little girl with a crooked head. “Ten years ago, you hid behind a tree and gave me this, saying, ‘My grandmother made it, bad people won’t eat it.’ You ran seven miles to find the police, your shoes were worn out, and your socks were soaked with blood.”

I sent my mom a pleading look to say yes. "That is a wonderful idea!" My mom beamed. "We can make fresh gingerbread at the bakery tomorrow and then bring them home to build! Everyone can join in too!" My mom turned almost giddy at the thought. "I can take Knox into town and we'll look for decorations and stuff."

She opened the first book then she proceeds to pronounce the letters one by one. She patiently repeat each sound until I get it. She praise me and gives me rewards whenever I got the sound of the letter she points at right. "I promise on my triple chocolate fudge cookies. You will relearn how to read in no time." I nodded at mommy Ella eagerly. The library door opened, Jamison and Parker entered running. "We are home mother!" Jamison shouts. Parker and Jamison, both hug and kiss our cheeks in greeting. "Watcha doing?" Jamison plop beside me.

"Every time you hear a bell ring ...." "It means a angle got his wings " he continued. I look at him surprised. "Its a wonderful life " i end and smiled . "It indeed is ....with you " he said ..as i chuckled . "You read quotes? " i asked . "Ya ...grandma used to read them to me , everynight ....one verse ." He said looking at the Christmas tree . I put the last ornament on and smiled . "Time for cookies !!" Mom yelled .
