My Demon Life: Lucifer's Quest

My Demon Life: Lucifer's Quest

' And now that the price is already high they kept quiet and stayed in confusion while watching the fight. Murea: 260,000 Rugh. Bad Guy: 280,000 Rugh. That Guy: 285,000 Rugh. Slowly and slowly the price kept on climbing and Murea dropped out. The price of the book is now, 360,000 Rugh. This is not a joke. They are really killing the atmosphere here fighting for the book. The fight is now between the two demons. Listening to the whispers of the other demons there I learn that Bad Guy was actually called Hage Raker. And That Guy is actually called. Veca Abdon. This fight is really intense. Just how much cash do these guys have- Cash? It couldn't be! Have I been played by Her yet again?

Daddy’s Good Girl

Daddy’s Good Girl

I said, answering. "Define good." His voice was tight. "We've got a problem. A big one." "What kind of problem?" "The Victor Russo kind of problem." I straightened. Victor Russo was a corporate raider. He was some hot shit millionaire who circled bankrupt companies and tore them apart for profit. He was said to be ruthless, aggressive, and very, very good at what he did. He was never in my circles, though, and our paths never crossed. I knew he was staying away from me on purpose.

The Good Son's Comeback

The Good Son's Comeback

" I listened and just smiled. Good for them. They used 900 grand to buy a lively family scene and a good reputation for being kind and generous. Meanwhile, I worked my fingers to the bone to buy myself a small, peaceful home. We both got what we wanted. A year later, on my 32nd birthday, I met my current girlfriend, Christina Stewart. She was a new designer at our company. She was always cheerful and warm. We got close while working on a project. She knew about my family's past, and she knew how hard I worked for this home. Unlike Ruby, she didn't look down on my family situation. On the contrary, she cared a lot about me. "Evan," she said while looking into my eyes. "You're incredible. Not

The bomb shelter erupted into chaos. The guy with glasses was the first to charge at me. "Mr. Lynch is a national treasure! And you're siding with a makeup thief, a nobody–" "Zip it!" Everett floored Glasses Guy with a swift move, his eyes blazing as he scanned the room. "Make a move, and you're done for!" Annie slumped against the wall, a smug glint in her eyes. She snatched the pill, shot me a triumphant look, and gulped it down with the water Everett handed her.

VERY VERY VERY GOOOD! Thankfully I read the Debt Collector first by accident. This was a very good sequel. I agree with another post that said that Shane got off to easily. I envisioned him getting tortured by Alex for years. Loved Suri in her book and I loved Serena in this one. Noah was great too.

Before I knew it, she fell asleep in my arms. I sighed. A lot of questions have occupied the space in my head. But one thing is for sure, someone evil is behind these. That person knew this place, and the first person I can think of is Luxferre. He literally spends most of his time protecting the book of enchantment. He can manipulate his people because he is their hero. After an hour, Niah woke up. She rubbed her eyes and gazed at me. “Are you alright?” I asked. She nodded.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

With eager anticipation, Patricia carefully peeled away the wrapping paper, revealing a sleek, brand-new cellphone nestled inside. "Wow! Thank you so much, Kuya!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with delight as she examined the thoughtful gift Caleb had chosen for her, a gesture that spoke volumes about their bond and his caring nature.

The King raged. "Easy there, pretty boy… My name is Odette, and I have come here to collect a pure soul. I noticed that this entire room is filled with purity, but none quite as good as my chosen one." The woman, clearly a witch, informed him. Elaine froze once again when Odette eyed her with a glint of mischief.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Good Guy' by Dean Koontz is one of those books that starts with a simple premise but spirals into something much darker and more thrilling. It follows Timothy Carrier, an ordinary guy who just wants to live a quiet life, until a stranger mistakes him for a hitman and hands him an envelope full of cash and a photo of a target. Instead of walking away, Tim decides to warn the intended victim, Linda Paquette, and suddenly finds himself tangled in a deadly game of cat and mouse. The pacing is relentless—Koontz has this way of making every chapter feel like a ticking time bomb.

What I love most is how the novel plays with the idea of chance and morality. Tim isn’t some action hero; he’s just a decent person trying to do the right thing, but the world keeps throwing curveballs at him. The villain, Krait, is genuinely unsettling, a reminder that evil doesn’t always wear a dramatic costume. The book also has this subtle thread about the randomness of life—how one small decision can flip everything upside down. If you’re into suspense with a side of existential dread, this one’s a page-turner.
