“That’s better.” He sighed in relief. “Now that I have let you all have your moment, we can crack on.” As he addressed the mournful crowd, Corbin’s eyes wondered from wolf to wolf. He memorised the pain etched on each of their faces, drawing out a satisfied smile on his own. The flickering lights cast a devilish shadow on one side of his aging features, highlighting the evil that he possessed, and accentuating the feral wolf that resided in him. His canines seemingly enhanced by his evil grin as he bared them for all to see.
