I dialed the hotel’s number again when I walked away from Miss Jean.
“Hi! It’s me again,” I gladly greeted the receptionist. “I’ll take them both. Have them ready after lunch,” I said. “Oh? It’s ready? That’s good. Thank you.”
“Anna, some of the guests are here. Usher them to the conference room.”

I went to the lobby to greet the guests when someone came up to me.
“Hi,” the woman said. “Do you know where Gabriel Anderson’s office is?”
“Right this way, Ma’am,” I smiled at the woman, who I guessed is in her mid 70’s. She has a pointed nose and had heavy make-up. Her reddish-brown hair was up in a bun. She was flashy with her jewelry.
