I don’t know what she looks like as I have no pictures of her, so I don’t know if I look anything like her. Having to grow up without a mom made things difficult, but I didn’t realize it until 10 months ago when the only parent I had, my father, died. My dad was a half blood werewolf; meaning his parents were also a mix of a human mother and a werewolf father, resulting in a half blood werewolf. Half bloods may have some or all characteristics of a werewolf of pure blood origins, but each person is different. Some half bloods have wolves and can shift like any pure blood whenever they want. Some can only shift during the full moon and are only able to maintain their wolf form until the moon

“You knew her?” Auren’s silence was an answer. He looked away, as though the past had claws. “We don’t have time for that story right now. But you deserve to know she wasn’t just anyone. She was Luna of the Hidden Court. And you—” His gaze met mine again, sharp as a blade’s edge. “You’re her heir.” The words sank in slowly, painfully. “That’s impossible.” “I wish it were.” Something inside me trembled — not fear this time, but something rawer. The air around us seemed to hum in response. The faint silver glow from my hands began again, faint but growing.

"Oh really? Do tell." She shrugs with faux innocence, flipping her dark hair over one shoulder. "Come on. A half-breed? Tell me when you have heard of such a creature in the entire history of the supernatural world. Half breeds are completely rare and they appear only in a few moments in the supernatural world when it seems like there's a purpose to be accomplished. I know the supernatural world claims them to be half human half supernaturals and that they are forbidden and that can only happen when a supernatural lays with a non supernatural but to me, I think it's just something more than that. “Have you heard?” Harry ran to Adolphus’s room after finding out the news from a trusted source earlier. “They found Charlene— and the Lycan King, Adhler declared that she’s the fated Luna that will save the Lycans from the catastrophe that is about to come,” he sat on Adolphus’s bed. The latter had just woken up, Adolphus stood and picked up his clothes. “Why aren’t you worried or even thrilled about this!? That is our sister that they are taking in as their own, Adolphus!”

Meanwhile, Luna, who had finished the attack, suddenly burst into countless pieces and dissipated. “No—” Andrius roared to the sky, his heart trembling. “Why? Luna, why...” His sharp eyes were wide, blood and tears flowing down together. At that moment, he sat paralyzed on the ground, holding his head and crying in pain. Swoosh... Whoosh... Luna, originating from the Sanguis Blade and the lamia, as well as the malevolent power she cultivated by herself, turned into a rain of light and sprinkled all over the small world.

Draven and Robert said in unison. Aurora’s mouth fell open in shock. “Half vampire… half werewolf,” she whispered, barely able to process the words. “I… but I don’t have fangs like vampires do. I’ve never had fangs — I’m an omega,” she added, her voice laced with confusion. Draven stepped closer, his voice soft but steady. “You’re more than that now.” Doctor Robert cleared his throat, his face growing more serious. “I did some research on you, Luna,” he began.

“We promise resilience. We promise unity. We promise to meet every threat with our teeth bared and our hearts unbroken.” The crowd leans forward, drawn in; I feel their pulse syncing with mine. I turn to Leah, raising her hand higher. “Leah,” I say, my voice steady, “you are Luna of Bloodmoon. Not because I name you, but because you earned it, every hour of every night and day we’ve survived.” Gasps ripple through the crowd, then silence so thick it feels sacred. The moon splits the clouds above, a clean beam of silver falling over us, illuminating her like the goddess they whisper she might be.
