A Sketch Away From Perfect

A Sketch Away From Perfect

How’ve you been? Scott Bauer: Missing you. *cheese emoji* I laugh. Harper Ward: LOL, liar. You been busy? Scott Bauer: *pouty face emoji* I really have missed you. But yeah, busy. Some asshole crop duster was a little off on his aim and sprayed pesticides on a small area of the farm. I wince, and text back quickly. Harper Ward: Oh, Scott, I’m so sorry. That sucks big time. Scott Bauer: Yeah, well, I had to rip out that crop. It’s all fixed now. I was wondering if you are busy on Sunday.

“It shows you’re willing to cooperate.” “I didn’t come here to cooperate,” Olivia said, her voice steady despite her fear. “I came here to tell you to leave my family alone.” Victor chuckled, the sound low and dangerous. “You’re brave, I’ll give you that. But bravery won’t get you anywhere in my world.” He leaned forward, his eyes never leaving hers. “Your father made a deal with me, Miss Harper. A deal he couldn’t keep. Now, someone has to pay the price.”

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

" Hayley listened, clearly pleased. Human technology was finally starting to show its strength. All the investment she had poured into research was paying off. Hayley climbed up onto the harvester herself to test it. Once she powered it on, the massive modified machine roared to life. The front intake spun violently, sharp blades and gears flashing with a cold sheen. Kit tossed a large pig leg bone into the intake. Crunch, crack! The harvester swallowed the solid bone whole, and as Hayley drove forward, it left chunks of debris scattered behind. After taking it for a full test run, Hayley climbed down, thoroughly satisfied. Enthralling. Not my usual genre but the world building was so very detailed and descriptive it became an addiction. A wonderful one. The characters are alive in my mind and will live there for a very long time. Intense action and one hella intense super strong female lead! Highly recommend!

words just can't describe how I feel about this book, after the first read, I turned right around and started reading it a second time. I'm super tempted to read it a couple more times cause I'm so invested in the characters. 100% amazing read. WOULD DEFINITELY BUY IN STORE!

She Healed Me to Harvest My Life

She Healed Me to Harvest My Life

It was a winter afternoon, with light snow drifting through the air. I'd founded Cosmic Haven, a welfare center that provided psychological support and art education to disabled children. The center was currently having a small exhibition, and the walls were covered with the children's creative artworks. Some of the children had lost arms, while some were in wheelchairs. Yet every face was filled with genuine joy. I was crouched down, adjusting the hat of a young boy with a prosthetic limb. That was when a commotion broke out at the entrance. I turned to look and saw a woman in a worn-out coat being held back by security.

cried Price. “Language!” Amy and I chided him at the same time. Isaac faced me with an incredulous frown. “C’mon.” I produced my phone, where I had downloaded Trisha’s SLS app, and looked up at the couch. “May I, ma’am?” “Show him,” the phone app replied, giving the Haunters a good start. “Thank you.” I opened the app and let Isaac see my screen. The sticks showed Ann sitting on the couch, with Edward and Joseph standing behind her like soldiers.

Dawn of the Hunters

Dawn of the Hunters

The figure turns and I find myself staring into deep dark eyes. “Remember hunter. Claim her by the blood moon, then when you fill the dagger with the blood of the gatekeeper, your chosen one will be returned. This is how I have made it. This is how I have foreseen it.” Words fill my head almost like a mind link, but slightly different. My eyes narrow when I realize the figure in the distance is the sorceress Yggdrasil. She disappears behind a mossy structure and the haze in my mind clears.

THE HARRISON HEIRESS

THE HARRISON HEIRESS

I believed she was weak, breakable, and easy to discard. But now? Now she was connected to the Harrisons. Now she had leverage. Now she had a name that carried weight—Harrison. That name burned in my thoughts. FreyaHarrison. The missing daughter. The golden child. The key to power Malum had been chasing for years. Freya didn’t even know it yet—not fully. And that ignorance was the only reason she was still breathing comfortably, still smiling hopefully at Malum like a fool who believed affection meant safety.

The Hidden King

The Hidden King

"Sophia's grandmother was a powerful sea witch, a Star Harvester. These beings are second in command to the Sea Witch Queen. It is rumored that they harvest the power of all deceased sea witches, including the old sea witch queens before they die and pass it down to each current sea witch Queen. They protect that power, the star. Some say that because of this ability, they are the most vital merfolk in the sea sorcerers' pod. They are more important than the sea witch queen, themselves. With that said, no one takes them lightly. We were warned from young mers, if we saw one, we should flee. Never fight with them, the end will be our death. A few older merfolks said even the sea witch queen f

The Reaping

The Reaping

His actions will speak for him. We pull up in front of a normal-looking house. It is two stories and is the larger size but it looks nothing like what people would assume the leader would have. There is a garage with a nice yard and a wraparound porch. My mate thanks to the driver and then comes around and opens my door holding out his hand. I take it and get out and see that my bags are setting on the porch. Someone must have brought them here while we were at the reaping. We make our way up the steps and my mate unlocks the door and takes my bags in with him.

Forever mine

Forever mine

The messy, chaotic growth of the jungles was being flattened by invisible presses, turned into perfect, gray hexagons of inert matter. The Hive was "tidying up" the world before the final impact. "There!" Jax pointed. A swarm of "Harvesters"—multi-legged machines that looked like obsidian spiders the size of houses—were stripping the forest floor. They weren't eating; they were deconstructing the atoms of the trees to build a landing pad for the Lunar Descent. Lyra didn't slow down. She accelerated. "Close your eyes!" she warned.
