Ignoring my exhausted body, I quickly grabbed my suitcase and headed out. After all, the base shuttle was the only transportation out of this place. Luckily, I caught the final bus of the day. After boarding, I casually pulled out my work card and tapped it against the scanner. The machine immediately flashed an alert. 'Invalid card. Please scan again.' My heart skipped. I hurriedly tried a second time. Still invalid. The driver shot me an impatient look. "Are you leaving or not? If your card doesn't work, get off already. Stop holding everyone else up."

She was holding the wires in her shivering hand. Hunter noticed those same scars on her but this time there were scars on her face as well. Her legs gave out as she fell to her knees. She rubbed her chest trying to breathe but no matter how much she tried, she was unable to breathe. Hunter grabbed the first thing that came into his sight. It was the chair as he smashed it on the screen and the computer system; destroying everything as it caught fire. Now he knows why she was there and why the first room was burning. She was there to destroy these tapes.

"Let's get those damn trackers out of us." We waited an extra day, just in case more came. The mountain remained eerily quiet, the snow undisturbed except for the tracks we had left behind. In an instant he is gone from sight. My new enemy has dark hair, braided down his back, and a face so sharp it looks forged in steel. He has a scar over one eye that gives him the look of a well seasoned warrior. His black t-shirt was tight and cut in a V neck. His very prescence made my mouth water. He stared toward me and I imagine the tornado taking him into the abyss. The roaring sound came so swiftly he didn't have the chance to evade. It hit him like a freight train derailing over a cliff. The spot where he had once stood was now empty, the tornado disapating mere feet from me.

~Night in the North~ The band of the night anti-supernatural creatures were all set out all on standby against the time the enemy steps forth unaware of their secret formation and intentions. When he got there, he goes straight to his swivel chair and put his gun on the top of the table. “Amore Intima,” said Amadeus and look at one of the men around him. AVA Swoosh! Clang! I shift my gaze, staring at Hunter's back as he rummaged through the drawers hurriedly. Tossing and throwing stuff he finds useless to the floor, creatint the swooshing and clanging sounds as he goes. Hunter groans, moving away from each one then proceeding to swing open the white painted wooden cabinets. God, does he have to be so aggressive? And what is he looking for? Suddenly he stops, his head raised staring at something sitting on the top cabinet. It sat between two unlabeled boxes, huge in size making it look like it's on the verge of death. One light touch and those boxes would fall to their demise and onto the floor.

As we crested the final ridge overlooking the crater, I saw them. ​The Harvester infantry. They weren’t machines, and they weren’t men. They were tall, spindly things made of reinforced bone and silver wire, their limbs moving with a jittery, insectoid grace. They didn’t carry rifles; their arms ended in long, humming blades of pure resonance that could slice through reinforced tungsten like it was silk. ​“Fire!” I commanded.

“Can you hear them too?” To her knowledge, she was the only one who could hear and see them. Even before Rodyn nodded at her, she realized he could. “He’s the last hunter. Only with him by your side can you vanquish the legion of darkness,” one of the Keepers said. “The last hunter?” Rodyn repeated. “She is the last hunter.”
