The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

"We didn't activate the frequency to call for dinner guests. We did it to save our people from a tyrant." "Intent is irrelevant to the stars," the woman replied. She raised her golden spear, and the holographic map above the plaza zoomed in. A cluster of red dots was moving toward our solar system—slow, inexorable, and massive. "They are the 'Harvesters of the Pale.' They consume worlds where the latent blood has reached maturity. They are coming for the very silver that now flows in your veins." "How long?" Leo asked, his voice cracking. He was already leaning over the balcony, his mind clearly racing through the physics of interstellar travel.

The Healer

The Healer

She mentioned her admiration for the area's beauty and how it had given her some ideas for their gardens at home. Then, my mother told me about the Alpha's daughter, Tori, and how much she admired her. Tori was a descendant of the Zahara bloodline and a true healer like her grandmother. My mother was taken with her and wanted me to meet her. I was surprised to hear she was the same healer supposed to come to Hidden Valley to heal me. She had been missing for seventeen years, and the Alpha had only recently reunited with her.

long brownish hair with a hint of blonde to it that would sparkle in the sunlight. She had freckles across her cheeks and nose and some on her chin. She was tall, around 5'7", and was the perfect weight to match her height of around 165 pounds or so. Her smile was gentle and her eyes soft yet commanding. I knew I was her, and she was me, and maybe this flashback lasted longer because I needed it too. The shortest flash but the most detailed was the last one I've had so far must have been when I was captured. It seemed like some hostage exchange. I was walking towards Mr. Slender with my hands in the air, and he was walking towards me. He had a woman's arm in his hands. He held her by her up

the female says as she opens a black door, and I give her a nod before stepping into the older Makskin's office. "Ahh. There you are-the, three males of the hour. Commander Burk, Captain Nole, Lieutenant Modok. Please sit down. I have terrific news," Hik says as his burgundy hand gestures towards the chairs in front of him. Nole shoots me a look, but I ignore it as I sit down in the chair farthest to the right. "I will get right to the point since you need rest. The three of you have been chosen for Harvest. You are now Tournament Champions. Your retirement is effective immediately. Congratulations," Hiks announces, and a moment passes over us before Nole erupts.

I’ve now read this book twice. It was fantastic the first time and I caught things I missed the second time. Great storyline, no rushing through the story and I felt like it ended with no loose ends. Can’t wait to read about more of the characters in the next book!

HARD TO GET

HARD TO GET

As soon as I stepped into the door, I immediately recoiled from the heat. I flinched back against the wall, squinting, trying to see the little red box that I knew was down at the bottom of the stairs. I fumbled my way along the wall until my fingers grazed the protruding box, silently praying someone else hadn’t already taken it.

Her Vegetable Husbad

But then, he flicked his fingers in front of her and interrupted her happy thought. “Why are you smiling that way? It doesn’t suit your chubby face,” he remarked rudely. Sharon glanced at her smile in the window screen. What does he mean? Her smile looks beautiful. She turned around and glared at him. Before asking,“ Why have you brought me here? Take me back right now!” Jasper rolled his eyes wondering who was just looking amazed right now and why she’s pretending that she wants to go back. Even after his accident made him unable to stand upright again, that fact didn’t stop women from chasing him relentlessly. They still sent him numerous love letters and flowers that used to annoy Amber w

The Gentleman Biker

“Uh, she doesn’t want that kind of farm; she’s after the Pogonomyrmex badius.” “The what now?” “Harvester ants.”“You… what dafuq is she doing with harvester ants?” “Look, at least I talked her down from the bulldogs, and I only got away with it because Australia is too far, but you best believe she’s gonna have one of us out there before long looking for that shit; that’s when you really have to worry. Those things can drop a man in less than half an hour. With the Floridian Harvester, you might stand a chance if you get stung once. I did good right.”“What does she want with the ants, Mancini?”

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

It hit the Librarian’s fragment in Thorne’s lab with the force of a tectonic shift. The Whisper-Moss on the mountain didn't just glow; it Exploded. The blue vines grew a hundred feet in a single second, lashing out like tentacles. They didn't shy away from the Harvester’s beams; they climbed them. The moss-filaments followed the ultraviolet light back to the source, invading the Harvester’s crystalline emitters. The Harvester shuddered. The white light of its hull flickered to a nauseous, pulsing green.

Hunter and the Silent Wolf

Hunter and the Silent Wolf

I made sure not to forget Mae’s journals and Fae’s wooden chest, trinkets of my former life… and now passages into my new one. Despair cast over Fiona’s face as an angry inferno washed over the cabin, a plume of smoke hurling into the sky like an ominous void. I threw everything into the back of the pickup truck, parked behind the shed. The fuckers had slashed my tires, so it took me additional time to put on the spares while she tossed extra supplies into the cab.
