Lucifer’s POV News of Eve re-emerging from the shadows has been on my mind since Levi came and visited me the other day. She proceeded to covering her face with her shaky hands as her scream transgressed into vibrating sounds. She crawled up the stairs and into her room.

River Black House Eventide was a sprawling manor surrounded by a wrought iron fence dripping with crimson roses. Four stories and made of marble, it was the most beautiful building she’d ever seen in person. It did look like a prince would live there. Something about it was sad too, though she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Most of the windows were dark, heavy curtains drawn. The gardens in the courtyard were a little overgrown. It looked to be a grand place forgotten. She supposed that’s what made it sad.

Pots and dishes shattered into pieces, and chairs and tables were overturned, leaving the place in complete disarray. Mayor Kingsley’s eyes were wide with anger, his voice full of menace. “Frank, you’d better give me an explanation. My son’s death won’t go unanswered!” Dad collapsed to his knees, trembling as he repeatedly bowed, his forehead quickly turning red and swollen. “Mayor Kingsley, it was that wretched Eve who caused all this. She’s already dead. I even fed her body to the pigs. Please, have mercy on me.” Mayor Kingsley sneered. “And you think that’s enough?”

They will come around. Across the room, I caught movement, the blond haired woman slipping toward a side door, unnoticed by most. Eve’s eyes followed her for half a second, then returned to me. That wasn’t coincidence. Eve leaned closer again. “That's my P.A Catherine Hayes."" “Ok.” “She will living with us when I move in ,” she said softly. Before I could respond, Ewing Peron spoke again. “Then it’s settled. We move forward.” The meeting dissolved into controlled chaos and quiet threats disguised as congratulations. Eve stepped back into her role seamlessly, speaking with advisors, answering questions, every inch the future Lady of Klein.

“I didn’t know you’re welcome in this house…” Shia glanced at Eve and continued sipping from her glass of wine. It was a wine that Eve got from Croatia. “In your house?” “In. Their. House.” Eve put emphasis on her words since after all, she long had refused to call this place her own house/ home. Shia paused for a moment but replied as she blinked her long lashes away. “Well, I had my own ways…” “You aren’t my father’s mistress, too right? that’s why he let you in?”

Helen said smiling. Eve picked up her pace stroking her son. In moments, he was moaning his readiness. Rob erupted, covering his mother's hand with his liquid offering.
