The Housemaid Sequel Novels & Stories

The reception was extraordinary, it was like they were welcoming the arrival of a princess and prince. Harnum's eyes filled with tears. He really felt very happy and moved. His feelings became more and more intense until without realizing it, clear droplets were rolling down his cheeks. “Welcome, Mrs. Harnum. Finally, Mr. Al got married and lived in this mansion. Let me introduce myself, I'm Ida, the head maid of this mansion." Aunt Ida bowed. “And they are servants who have their respective duties in this mansion. Everyone in this mansion has a role to play." The middle-aged woman named Ida introduced herself and introduced the other household assistants.

The aroma of whatever he made filled my nostrils as I stood in the kitchen and waited for him to acknowledge my presence. “It’s not even morning, Homer,” he grumbled and then faced the stove to continue. A young woman came into the kitchen holding a bucket and mop and wearing a maid uniform. “Stella, could you also mop the office?” Dominic softened his voice when he spoke to the random woman “Okay, sir.” she nodded and walked away. “Stella is also a maid. She has been a maid for a very long time now, and she does a very good job.” Dominic said, “Don’t make me pick her over you.” he continued in a lower voice.

My mind was racing, searching for solutions, and I couldn't help but think that I could sell those suitcases on eBay for enough to keep us going for a few months, especially with the designer items inside them. We no longer had any staff to help us load everything into the taxi. They all, without exception, scattered as soon as we received the notifications from the court confiscating our mansion in Ridgewood, New Jersey. I looked around, admiring the incredible property we had until just last week, and sighed resignedly. I grew up in that mansion; all my memories stem from here. It was a heavy weight on my chest to know that Dad had accrued enough debt for us to lose our home to pay it off.

she replied. "I understand," Clara said sympathetically. "But trust me, you deserve better than him. You're a strong, capable woman and you shouldn't settle for anything less than the best." Amelia nodded slowly, taking in Clara's words. While it didn't completely erase the hurt she was feeling, it did make her feel a little better. Suddenly, Amelia stood up and turned to face Clara. "What happened when you got to Marcellus's house?" she asked. Clara's expression turned serious. "Well, I met Mrs. Mary, the former Chief Maid of the Huxley family but now the Chief Maid of Marcellus. She could tell she was still angry with me."

"At least no one will be sending me errands like a maid." "Like a maid?" Rothchild stared back at her again. "As if you are not one. They are not treating you like a maid, you were actually a maid, and guess what? You will still be a maid in my new house. The only difference is that you will have one master, and that one master is me."

I shook my head to clear the strange dirty thoughts but her voice quickened the process. "Shouldn't you be working, maid?". She asked with narrowed eyes, drawing out the *maid* as if to remind me of my status. Without replying to her, I retreated to the kitchen. A few minutes later, I heard footsteps climbing up the stairs with giggling sounds. Must be the girlfriend. I concluded.

"Heh, are you afraid that I will steal your husband? I just came to send an invitation but you are accusing me of being a thief and a bitch who will steal him." "I didn't think that you would steal my husband, all I could think of was that you would flirt with him. I never mentioned anything about stealing, but you said it yourself, so that is indeed your intention..." I smirk as I look at her. “If she refuses to leave, call the guards to throw her away!” I ordered the maid before I turned around to leave. I even saw the maid approach her and escorted her out of the mansion before I could finally climb the stairs.

Her voice echoed through the room, filling it with a tense silence as every other maid present held their breath. "You're just a cheap tart who's been selling her body! We've all seen your videos plastered all over the internet!" Serena could feel the ire radiating from the man opposite her at the maid's audacity. However, she motioned for him to stay calm and let the maid go on with her rant. The maid paused for a moment to catch her breath before continuing, "Even your ex-husband couldn't stand you because your stepsister is ten times the woman you could ever dream of being!"

The next morning, I slipped back into my routine as if nothing had happened. The sun was barely up, the halls quiet except for the soft shuffle of feet and clinking of dishes. I moved through the mansion with practiced precision—folding linens, polishing the silver, and checking every corner like I’d done a hundred times before. Some of the maids watched me, whispering behind their hands. “Look at her… walking around like nothing happened.” “Maybe it’s true what they say—Sebastian really went after her.”

One of the maids from the main house overheard her and suddenly stepped forward, slapping the nurse hard across the face. “Who do you think you are, talking like that?” the maid snarled. “We only listen to Madam. That homewrecker in the wheelchair doesn’t deserve anything! She’s just a cheap slut trying to steal Mr. Hale from Madam. She should be grateful we even let her stay here instead of throwing her back to the streets where she belongs!”
