The Invisible Chains

The Invisible Chains

"I don't think that so-called system exists either. It sounds more like an excuse. If it were real, it would be way too weak. How could it work without even filtering who the person is? It just doesn't make sense." Then, he added, "Don't overthink it. This world runs on smoke and mirrors. Maybe she just planted some kind of surveillance device in your apartment." I thought what he said made sense. Maybe there was no complicated high-tech involved; perhaps it was just a simple hidden camera. I immediately dragged Isaac back to my place. Together, we bought a scanner designed to detect hidden cameras, and we searched every corner of my home from top to bottom. We even checked inside the toilet

A Key to the CEO's Heart

A Key to the CEO's Heart

While this time, I place my hand on his thigh, near to his crotch. “Do you like Star Wars?” I whisper to him, switching my eyes between his eyes and his crotch, “If you like that, we can have an intense battle... of raysabers.” with my eyes squinted, I bite my lower lips. This time, Jamie doesn’t move away from me. He looks at me with a calm face. Taking our time, he takes a sip of his ristretto. He then mentions, “You’ll need two to fight.”

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

Francis, who had already reached the token, also made his move. Francis raised his hand and tossed a mirror-like spiritual treasure that instantly enveloped Severin, creating layers of mirrored spaces to aid in defense. Several seconds later, when the mirrored space shattered and collapsed, Francis extended his hand, his fingers forming a claw. An invisible force burst forth, and the last Starry Token fell into his hand. The moment Francis obtained the ninth token, Severin suddenly sensed the token stored in his spatial ring vibrating uncontrollably. Not one second later, the token shot out of his spatial ring.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

My Invisible Mate

My Invisible Mate

"Fine, like fine is a complete word that means what it means." Lena put the cap on the lip gloss and turned to face her fully, which was Lena's way of indicating that she was no longer making casual conversation. "You've been with him for two years. You barely talk about him. You talk about the shop, you talk about your aunt, you talk about the book you're reading. You don't talk about him." "Some people are private." "You're private. He's invisible." Ignoring the comment, Serena picked up her bag. "Let's go."

No Longer His Invisible Luna

No Longer His Invisible Luna

He stood there, waiting. I watched from my window, the wild rose of my pheromones filling my chamber, warm and alive and entirely mine. I watched him kneel in the mud, holding Lydia close, Kurt standing guard over them both, three figures diminished by the downpour, diminished by their own regret. I felt nothing. No triumph. No pity. Only the vast, empty clarity of a storm that has passed, leaving the world washed clean. I turned from the window and walked to my father's desk—my desk now—where the accounts of the Pearlcoast Pack awaited. I had territories to review, alliances to negotiate, a future to build.

OWNED BY AN INVISIBLE HUSBAND

OWNED BY AN INVISIBLE HUSBAND

I said, grateful my voice didn’t shake much. A pause. Then calmly, he spoke. “I warned you about restricted areas.” “You watch people sleep!” “For protection.” “That’s not protection! That’s insanity!” Silence followed briefly. “You opened a locked door inside my home.” “You investigated my entire life!” “You agreed to the contract.” “That doesn’t make this normal!” Another quiet pause and I could practically feel him listening carefully now. God, even while being invisible, this man somehow controlled entire rooms. I hated how strongly I felt that.

Star Dust

As his hand traveled down her back, he found it on the bare skin of her rounded bottom. He was trying to move his hand though it was hard for him to move, let alone think. He knew he had to. He knew that he would have the ability to touch her completely soon enough. In the darkness of the room, though, he waited while fighting with himself to move his hand. It seemed like he could not, and he was fighting with a magnet of some sort. “Oh.” She said softly in the dark, breaking the silence in the room as he was sure he was no longer breathing as he fought with himself. “I didn’t realize I had used you for my pillow.”

The Invisible Heir

“I’m not agreeing to anything.” Stunned silence filled the room. Even Scarlett couldn’t hide her surprise. She didn’t expect him to resist, and despite herself, she was impressed .Her grandfather was a man of unparalleled influence, a name that carried weight and fear across the business world. Wealthy elites and powerful figures alike bent to his will without hesitation. Yet here stood this so-called nobody, daring to defy him with unflinching bravery. The tension in the room was suffocating. Everyone waited for Mr. Lancaster’s response. The guard’s hand stayed steady, the muzzle of the gun unmoving against Julian’s head.
