The Lottery of Fate

The Lottery of Fate

“I’m sorry…” Adrian’s voice was raw, scraped thin, his eyes blood‑shot. “Irene, please… I’m begging you. Give me one more chance.” His words tumbled out fast, frantic. “If you want to punish me, fine. Do it. You can even let fate decide—draw lots, flip a coin, take my life for yours. I’ll take whatever you give me.” I froze. Before I could speak, Julian stepped in front of me, his voice like ice:

Shifting My Fate

Shifting My Fate

After the war between humans and shifters, an alliance was formed to keep the peace. The price? Daughters of the human nobility had to choose a shifter as their mate. The first half-blood born from this union would become the new ruler, ensuring that peace would last. As the eldest daughter of the Morrison family, I was the first to be chosen. But right after I chose the wolf Alpha, Calvin, I saw a vision on our engagement day. Because I failed to conceive after six months, Calvin locked me in a cage, determined to use me as a vessel for his pure bloodline. After I finally gave birth to the prophesied hybrid, my sister, Trina, appeared, claiming she wanted to take care of me. But the truth

Marked by Fate

Marked by Fate

“But why? She’s so young.” Ailm lowers her head slightly. “War is coming. I can feel it in my bones. I had no choice.” Caden reaches for her again—but freezes. On his palm, a strange mark glows: a circle with a cross inside. Ailm nuzzles it. “It’s like a current,” he says, shocked. “It’s an Ailm mark,” she explains. “We are fated. Not just mates—fated. A rare, divine connection.” Drake stiffens. “Will Baylee wear the same mark?”

Fated Tragedy

Fated Tragedy

The voice answered before I could form the words. “Remember the keys to freeing yourself from the repeated curse of fated mates choosing another and rejecting you: allow the mate bond to accept who it was chosen for. Once you do, your luck and faith will shine brighter than even I, and your ancient powers will at last return. Your fated mates must share the same ending in name as that of your chosen successor. This successor is the pup you bear — not theirs, for they shall never raise a pup that survives beyond half the first generation. That is one of the many weights of the curse. They can never speak of it, and you would never learn of it, until your time came. Lyra has been made to not k

The Alpha's Betrayal: My Second Chance To Defy Fate

The Alpha's Betrayal: My Second Chance To Defy Fate

"The more you try to fight fate, the more it comes back to bite you in the back." "I disagree with that," I said sharply. The words came out more forcefully than I'd intended, but I didn't care. "I was murdered in my first life in cold blood. This second chance I have had... I have changed things. I have defied fate." Dayo shook her head again. "Fate is like energy. It cannot be created nor can it be destroyed. The wheel turns, but the wind, situation, and road will determine which direction and the speed at which it turns. You cannot defy fate. You can only pass it to another or push it forward."

Faking the Mate Bond

Faking the Mate Bond

Kazeal said, taking a deep breath. “I can try,” I said. Kazeal nodded wearily. “Hey,” I gained his attention. “Hmm?” “People often like to represent the shackles of fate by a red string. But I used to believe the same, but not anymore. We are all bound by thorny vines of fate and it appears like a red string to the eyes because the vines are smeared with our blood. It’s ok to feel lost. I feel exactly the same right now. But none of this is our fault. I know you want to stop this war and I know why you don’t want me to get involved, but Kazeal, can we fight fate? Can we ever execute our plans the way we imagined?”

I LOVE this book so much! It was a great start, then it had a huge twist that I thought at first I wasn’t going to like, but it was soooo good! I couldn’t put it down and read it in like 3 days up until it’s close to the end as it’s not quite finished. It’s well worth the read!!

Bloodied Ashes

Bloodied Ashes

“That’s what you did, isn’t it? Look where that fucking got you!” He doesn’t answer, just tilts his head as the chains rattle above him faintly. “You flinch when they talk about fate,” he says after a long pause. “But you don’t look away. That’s how I know you’re dangerous. You’re not broken—you’re sharpening.” That word—fate—tastes like poison in my mouth. It used to mean something holy. Now, it means rot in silk robes. He shifts in the dark, his shackles creaking. “Most of the ones they keep down here either beg or go quiet. You? You bleed like it’s a message. You look at your own wounds like they’re scripture. I’ve seen witches carve themselves for less.”

Being Alive

Being Alive

It could be opened, so I did it and I saw a note saying ‘Once I will marry you! I started laughing quietly. I didn’t really remember it. I didn’t have a good memory, back then and I kept forgetting everything. Then I started reading a lot and I was interested in poetry as well. I liked learning them by heart. That’s what helped me stop forgetting things. I put the pendant on and took my book. I kept thinking about the pendant, but I stopped the minute, I sat on the couch near Linc. I started reading. It was the book Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë. It’s a chaotic novel. At first, all of the heroes seem great, but one of them becomes the most hated person. Why? Because of the callous fate.
