Between The Sun And The Moon

Between The Sun And The Moon

That way, six women entered the cursed island. It seemed a bit spooky and dark at first. But soon they realized that the darkness was caused by a set of huge trees that were spread through the shore. Those trees had dark green leaves and dark brown trunks. Once they passed them and entered the inside, they saw the most beautiful scenario one could see in life.

Unwanted Mate

Unwanted Mate

When she first comes into view, I cannot help but smile. This is before I see the two trees growing in the plot of land. They are both forbidden here. A gnarled black tree with rough bark stands at my waist height. On the opposite end of the plot of land is an elegant white tree with smooth bark. She must hear us approaching, she turns and smiles at us. Sven’s young daughter, Cilla, who is approaching her ninth winter, offers Isla a hand to help her stand up. Bracing herself on the wooden bucket and accepting the girls’ help, I watch as she struggles to stand. Even through my anger, I find myself wondering if she has always had issues with her leg.

The Island of the Silence

The Island of the Silence

So dry that every breath scratched. Thirsty. This thought came suddenly with brutal clarity. She had swallowed seawater. Her mouth tasted bitter and salty. Your lips were torn. She turned slowly to the island. The forest started right behind the beach. Density green. High trees with wide leaves. Lianes between the tribes ! Unknown flowers in bright colors. Fine. And threatening. Everything in it was strange. Every shadow between the trees suddenly seemed like a secret. Mara stayed on the edge. The sea behind her.

Reincarnated into a sabotaged racing loser

Reincarnated into a sabotaged racing loser

Broken bridges connected islands of white stone suspended above endless voids. The place looked less like a racetrack and more like the remains of several worlds stitched together. Alina walked for what felt like an hour. The sky never changed. The darkness never shifted. Nothing marked the passage of time. Eventually she reached a field filled with silver trees. Thousands of them. Their branches looked like crystals. Small lights drifted inside the trunks. Curious, Alina stepped closer. The moment she touched one of the trees, a voice echoed around her. A woman laughing.

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

TIME TO FALL IN LOVE

She didn't open her eyes, but her fingers tightened around Panni’s. "I’m here," Panni said, pulling the girl into her arms. "I’ve got you." Panni looked up at the treeline. This wasn't a tourist island with white sands and cocktail bars. This was Koh Sdech, the Island of the King—a place where the jungle grew so thick it seemed to breathe. And standing at the edge of the shade, as silent as the trees themselves, were three men.

Contract with the Alpha

Contract with the Alpha

My vision narrows on the computer screen, showcasing thousands of dollars missing from Isabella’s account. Tunnel vision takes over, and before I know it, I am halfway to Billy’s rundown house at the northwest end of Isabella’s territory—in the densest part of the forest. No one travels this far out, as it is on the outskirts of rogue territory. The ratty porch is barely held together by rotting posts, wrapped in thick, moss-coated vines shaped like a broken spiderweb.

THE ALPHA KING’S SPECIAL LUNA

THE ALPHA KING’S SPECIAL LUNA

The island was nothing like I thought it would be. I half expected a deserted island. I should have expected more after knowing the Alphas competition was held here every four years, but that would also have never prepared me for the sight before me. The island was beautiful. Why was it so beautiful when it was just for a testosterone-filled Alpha competition? The island was surprisingly beautiful. Tall green trees reached for the sky, their leaves swaying in the warm breeze. The air smelled of salt and wildflowers, and in the distance, waves crashed against the shore. Sunlight streamed through the trees, creating golden patterns on the ground.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

By this time, Caspian had seen a huge round island in front of him. The island was like the back of a giant turtle floating on the sea. The island were full of tall and lush trees, full of savage and primitive auras. In the forest and trees, the outline of the city could be clearly seen, as well as all kinds of broken walls and ruins. It was as if there was a prosperous city standing on this island. Suddenly, it was abandoned. After tens of thousands of years or hundreds of thousands of years, the trees and vines had taken over the island and merged with the collapsed buildings.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Lost in the Forest of Clouds

Lost in the Forest of Clouds

The weight of his confined life lifted, replaced by a surge of long-forgotten freedom. Inspiration flowing, he began to paint. His brush moved across the canvas as the landscape took shape before him. For three days, he lost himself in the solitude, accompanied only by birdsong and rustling leaves. --- When he finally descended to ship his painting to the university, Allen turned his phone back on. The screen lit up with dozens of missed calls and messages, all from Serene. This was unprecedented. Usually, Allen was the one calling and texting, only to be ignored. Serene had never actively reached out to him, let alone repeatedly.

Travails of Oluwole

Travails of Oluwole

I said interrupting Hendrix watching the sacred tree slowly fade out of our reality. Once again, the tree has moved to some other destination somewhere in time and space. Still, after the warning placed by The Divine Sisters, we couldn’t avert the damage that was to come if ever Cassius gets that flower. It is almost like it was fated. As the tree slowly faded away, the island it occupied faded with it. The island was no more.

The story was quite interesting, the way you interpreted the story was nice. Just the spaces of your sentences were something strange, I'm not sure if it was only on my phone, however, the content of the story was really good.

This is by far the best book I've read in a very long time. I'm hooked! Chapter 2 almost made me cry. Now I'm wondering if Dr. Samuel and Wole will ever meet and how!? I'm also wondering if Wole will regain his memory and how will he react towards Charles when he does! Update soon??
