I don’t know anything about the first war, and it’s not what we’re here about.” She lifted an eyebrow at him, “Arthur, you said… You look a great deal like a general from years ago… Dean.” Arthur swallowed, “He was my father and the former king... He died nearly twenty years ago.” Her lips curved into a cruel smile, “How pleasant.”

Hearing this, Lilith tilted her head. "Indeed, and you aren't any different. Though the ideas you had, for now, are more about fashion, like your father." Sol remembered the clothing design of the maid as well as their underwear and swimsuits and coughed lightly. "For example, the first king brought totally new tactics of war, he even wrote a book called the art of war, his most popular sentence was, if you know your enemy and know yourself, you need not to fear the result of a hundred battles."

She sought to remind Viola to tread carefully. But Viola seemed oblivious to Jane's warning, saying, "The king only made my brother a major general before he left for the Southern Frontier. A major general is the main commander responsible for defending a region. Which region would he be stationed at?" Jane's tone turned serious, "Madam Viola, you should be more concerned about your husband. He's here today too."

His second in command spoke with a panicked look. "You never would have gone with it if I did," "Why the fuck would I?, these are our men who gave up their humanity for your sake, you cannot do this Augustine," He yelled drawing his sword at his king, "We aren't toys for your disposal, I guess the rumors are true, you truly have gone mad," "I'm your king, William, I'm the one with the crown and I can do whatever the fuck I want!, whenever the fuck I want!" He yelled sadistically before plunging his spear into William's heart killing his general immediately.

Aldrich smiled thinly as he looked from me to the dull coloured grass ahead of us and then let out a long breath as he sighed “I had hoped the rumours about your father’s rule wasn’t true.” “Rumours?” I asked curiously. He nodded as he continued to speak. “There are kings I am allies with. Well, in fact, over the years they’re more trusted friends than just mere allies. There are some that have come here a long time ago now and they all had the very same descriptions as one another. These are the same kings that have refused to join in a truce with Edric” “And what did they all say?” I asked in a mere whisper, my heart beating faster at the dread of what I was about to hear. I knew it wasn’t

"A letter?" He stepped closer, his golden eyes glinting with malice. "From the late General. It said the King of Decresh is too weak to rule. The kingdom suffers under your leadership. The nobles have written to me, begging me to return and reclaim the throne. And so I have." I clenched my fists, my nails digging into my palms. "You dare—"

he asked, looking hurt. “Yes.” “I get that your mates and all that, but no offense, your highness. You deserve better. You are too young for someone like him. The King had you pretty late. General Kingston is the same age as your father! I mean he’s… ancient! In the human realm, he’s almost like your great grandfather!” he blurted out as if he could no longer help it. His chest heaved. “I bet this ancient grandfather can take you down in a single blow if you wouldn’t stop messing with his mate. Get the fuck out, boy. Your opinion is not needed here.”

Also, my powers have doubled so that it will be an easy win in less than an hour. “Now, let’s introduce our two competitors on the red side. We got our King, King Vladimir, and on our blue side. We have our future queen, Princess Amilia,” the general said, making everyone yell loudly with excitement. “Both competitors, please step forward and salute,” the general told us. I walked over and waited for Vladimir. Standing tall and straight, I looked at him. We didn’t say a word. After a few seconds, we salute, as Vladimir wished me luck. I turned around and, looking at him over my shoulder. I whispered: “Prepare to get dethroned, my king.”

The maidservants who had affections for the young lord squealed in delight upon seeing him visit the castle again, and the fact that now he was a high-ranking officer of the Regaleria Kingdom made them all the more enthusiastic. The new general made his way up to the throne hall on the third floor without any delay and with an unsympathetic look on his face over the commotion of the servants down the main foyer. He acted stoic and rather imposing as expected of a high-ranking general onward to getting his first mission from the King. An hour later, he stepped out of the throne hall with a grim look on his face; feeling disappointed and confused by what the King had just instructed him. “Lord
