Trapped Between Two Alphas

Trapped Between Two Alphas

“Cash is in rehab. His dad came to visit me around the first of May. He wanted to apologize and meet Hallie. Apparently, he was just hearing about his granddaughter for the first time.” “Do you believe him?” She nodded. “He lost his wife last year and he has no other family, so he was really happy to meet Hallie. He said she was the one thing his son had done right. And he paid me the back child support Cash owed.” “I’m sure that helped.” “Yeah.” Tessa dropped her voice. “Do you know anything about this cartel?” Zy looked tense and scanned the room as if he expected problems. “They were the assholes who tried to kill us all back in March. No one got a good look at us…I think.”

also the names! Its ok, id probably pay tribute as well if I were writing myself. I will say its a tad weird that I'm seeing their faces and hearing their accents, though. I usually fill in those details for myself as I read. except I think the "Original" Rebekah suits this character well. ...

Just my wondering how can you call this trap between Alpha‘s when going into book two Elijah is no longer mentioned? what I’m reading, she is with Cole and Caden doesn’t appear to be an alpha? When I first started reading it based on the title I was expecting Elijah Kol and Kat to end up together.

THE LAST LETTER

THE LAST LETTER

He reached for Emma— But Isabella stepped between them. "Your fight is with me." Richard stared at her. "You've chosen their side?" "I've chosen the truth." Richard raised his pistol. "So be it." Before he could pull the trigger— Bang! A single shot echoed through the lighthouse. Richard froze. He looked down at his chest. Blood slowly spread across his shirt. His pistol slipped from his hand. Everyone turned toward the doorway. Standing there was Ethan's grandfather, Thomas. His old hunting rifle still smoked.

One last dance

One last dance

"Of course, you can get ten bouquet, you're rich aren't you?" This really wasn't going to be easy, but exchanging words with him would not get me anywhere. He was my friend and I needed to shut this whole fight down before going back to Arizona. Christian was right anyway, when Arizona ends, Bernard would be the only family I have left. "Can we just talk?" I asked him, taking a seat in his office. "We are talking Belle." He replied. "I thought we were no longer friends?" "How will you say that to me? Of course we are friends".

Cut Out, Cashed In

Cut Out, Cashed In

I stepped out of the car and saw a familiar figure. Wade. Recently released. One leg dragged badly. It was the one the loan sharks had broken years ago and never healed right. He was standing in the snow in a thin, worn-out jacket, handing out flyers, bowing slightly to every person who passed. When he saw me step out of the car, he went rigid. The flyers scattered from his hand. He turned and tried to move away on his bad leg. "Wade." He stopped. His whole body shook once. He turned back slowly, his eyes full of fear, shame, and something that looked like the end of a very long road.

The Heaven Hill Generations Series

"Oh yeah, you know what I'm talking about, and you know there's proof. You will leave Bowling Green tonight, and you will allow us to auction off this house, and give the money to CRISIS. We will never see either of you again, is that clear?" Whatever Cash has on George must be legit, because he's literally shaking in his shoes. "We're clear," he chokes out. Cash uncocks the gun, walking us out to the front porch, where he hands it to Tyler. "Thanks for letting me use it." In silence, we walk to Cash's car. "What do you have on him?" I can't help but ask.

Cash In and Cut Me Loose

Cash In and Cut Me Loose

She paused and added, "Instead of slinging mud here, figure out how to save your sinking ship. Lester carried you for five years. It's time to stand on your own. If you keep this up, I'm game to play dirty, with Benson Group behind me." She signaled the guards to release Cassandra before sauntering back into the building. I watched from the floor-to-ceiling window, coffee in hand. My expression was bland as Cassandra slumped to the ground. Sherry came in, catching my relaxed vibe, and teased, "Enjoying the show of two women duking it out over you, hotshot?" I shook my head. "I wanted to handle it, but you stopped me." "It's my battle," she said, "settled in women's ways."

I Was the Last to Know

I Was the Last to Know

"She was involved in embezzlement. I gathered all the evidence myself. She's looking at at least 10 years." It was the explanation he wanted to give me. And the last piece of redemption he could offer himself. Even though he knew that I no longer cared. He kneeled at the grave for an entire day and night. By the time his assistant forcibly carried him away, he had completely lost feeling in his legs. … Three years later, the business world of Riverdale underwent a major shake-up. Brooks Group, once at the height of its success, ultimately declared bankruptcy under Conrad's reckless expansion and increasingly extreme decisions.

One Last Litany

One Last Litany

He lowered his head and said softly, "Daddy, I can't wake Mommy up. Can you give me your quill?" Casper's heart skipped a beat, and he subconsciously asked. "What do you mean you can't wake her up? Didn't your mother only donate 400cc worth of blood..." "Casper!" Sydney suddenly cut him off. Casper turned his head, a look of shock on his face. "What is it?" Sydney stiffened and awkwardly changed the subject as she felt Casper's inquisitive look. "Today is New Year's Eve. If Adam gets home late, Winnie will get worried. All he wants is a quill, right? You should hurry and give it to him. Let's not disturb their New Year's celebration."

Our Last Fall

Our Last Fall

I wasn't as exceptional, but I had earned a decent reputation at the broadcasting station. Pretty much everyone assumed we were meant to be. No one realized the one he really cared about was the girl who had gone back to her hometown—his childhood sweetheart and the housekeeper's daughter, Celia Smith. "Don't go quiet on us. Is there some kind of misunderstanding? Don't do anything rash. I really think Sam cares about you…" Mr. Jameson babbled. "Alright, that's enough. Go somewhere else, would you?" Mr. Hall cut Mr. Jameson off before he could finish.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

It took a minute before he got up again. Even after he’d gotten ejected in the short go, Colby ended up in fifth. Good enough to finish in the money, but not enough points to move him up in the standings. He was still ranked second. Oddly enough, Cash had won the final round of bull riding. The minute the engraved gold belt buckle had passed into Cash’s hands, she made tracks to the contestants’ entrance. Heedless of what his friends or others might think, when Channing caught sight of Colby, she practically ran to him.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Only up to the first 3 stories...and I loved them! I wondered why the book was so big but it's broken down with several stories so when I get time, I'll read them accordingly. Pretty well written/edited and certain to make you desire more than you can handle.
