One last dance
I raised my glass to her, signalling that I understood.
"Are we attending the wedding, Fran?" Abigail asked. The trio exchanged a look between them and laughed out loudly again.
I stood up, done with the charade before I began to laugh at jokes that weren't in any way funny.
"I have some decorations to do at home." I said to the crew, remembering that I had another reason for leaving the house. ,"I should take my leave."
Lucy looked at me with a smile on her face.
"She doesn't want us to corrupt her little brain and the sanctity of marriage she holds so dear in her heart." She mocked. "Go then, my dear Belle. Take my car if you want."
