I wanted to learn more about it, but it would do no harm to get a book and maybe read about some Luna history and mythology there. I entered the library and a gasp left me as I stared at how big it is, this isn't any ordinary library. This library is huge. It is filled with bookshelves, it is so huge that it feels like an enclosed room. The shelves stretch for miles and they contain hundreds of books, many of which must contain Luna history and mythologies. There is no end to them. I glanced around the library, noticing that no other person was present. I was completely alone.

As it was the time of recess, the library was almost empty except for the receptionist. Greeting her with a smile, I made my way to my usual table and took the book out of my bag. The book that I had borrowed from the pack library. The title read 'Tales Of The Mates" and the the book itself contained the real stories of the fated as well as chosen mates of the past Alphas. I had already read more than half of the book and I must admit that it was getting on my nerves now. Out of all the entries I have read so far, most of the happy endings were of the fated mates.

“It was a fucking library” Neat and surprisingly well-maintained, the library was lit with a dim, golden glow. A fireplace in the corner lent a soft warmth to the room, making it feel oddly inviting. Towering shelves lined the walls, packed tightly with books. I stepped inside, the faint creak of the wooden floor breaking the silence. I picked a book at random, scanning its title: Leadership for the Ruthless. My nose wrinkled. “Why would anyone willingly read this?” Another title caught my eye: Tactics of Power. I rolled my eyes. Of course. What did I expect? The library of a Mafia Don would be filled with books on control and domination.

she begged and pinched her brows, making a look of helplessness. "Every written word is important, Lorraine. It's rather better to ask for a summary of the book than say 'only the important part of the book', okay?" Herla corrected her. Lorraine remembered her school librarian. This would have been the exact same response they would give to anyone who insinuated there's a part of a book that was less important than another. "Are you a librarian?" Lorraine's eyes followed Herla as she flapped her wings. "Yes. I used to be a librarian."

"I'll be right here." I get up and wander toward the book sections. The library is organized by subject, with fiction on one side and non-fiction on the other. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, so I just start walking through the aisles, letting my eyes scan the shelves. I pass through the science section, then the history section, then literature. Nothing really grabs my attention until I reach the yearbook section. As I'm browsing through the section, one particular book catches my eye. It's a black book, smaller than most of the others on the shelf, and something about it draws me toward it.

She smiled, placing her hands on her waist. "Really? there's a library? Yes!" I clenched my right fist frantically in the air, excitement written all over me. Back at home, A Library was an abomination. I guess I forgot to mention there was a rule about books also? Well, here it goes. Eric had concluded that books lie. He had this ludicrous theory that books trap people. He said it's similar to a disease, a terrible sickness that has no cure. Makes humans rapted in an imaginary world, completely forgetting what reality brings.

And then she left. I let out a heavy sigh as if I had just escaped from something dangerous. Alone at last, I wandered between the towering shelves, running my fingers along the spines of books that contained centuries of werewolf history and law. As I got to the back of the library, a particular book with a golden cover caught my attention. I read the title which says; The Evolution of Pack Hierarchies in the United States of America. Hmm, this seems interesting. So I reached for it, sliding it carefully from its place. But as I removed the book, I caught a glimpse of a figure through the gap I took the book from.

I nodded, overwhelmed. “Good. Now let me show you our library” Freya pushed the massive double doors open and I could not hold back a gasp. Shelves stretched from floor-to-ceiling and no matter how far I looked, it didn't seem to end. Some books floated in the air, flipping pages on their own. Though the library was huge, the books were neatly organized. “Admiring our collection?” Freya asked. I nodded, still in awe. “This is the heart of our coven. History, spell, rituals. Everything thing you need to know us in here”
