The Library Book Summary Novels & Stories

Something Liam recommended after asking him for books my mother must have read. It was filled with stories of queens who lost everything, kings who broke under the crown and kings who abdicated the throne and the constant war between packs. I turned the pages without really reading, constantly rubbing my eyes to soothe the ache in them. After hours of flipping through the pages in silence, the first noise came from the jangling keys of a librarian. She was leaving. She brought me a cup of tea and placed it by my side. “You’ve been here all day. Are you sure you won’t leave and return tomorrow?”

I entered the library that belonged to our pack for centuries. The interior was very old, Victorian style. I don’t know why, but for some reason, I always felt the power of knowledge and imagination every time I stepped inside a library. I could hear the dusty untouched books on the shelves asking me to read them. People of my pack consider this library as the best place to read in peace and gather more information on our history. Even in my personal life, this library has a great influence on me. I became a member when I was only eight. I started with encyclopedias, and guides on wolfs, and training, and ended being a passionate reader of books and novels.

he gave me a small smile and I nodded in return. I left him sitting on the floor, at the encyclopedia corner. We both knew what our goal was, we were not going to stop until we completed it. I guess there was something in common between Beta and Iota after all, their drive. I headed toward the Literature corner, searching for books at the isle of fiction. Our library follows the Dewey Decimal System, so I headed towards CAN. There were four shelves of books dedicated to authors with the surname starting with CAN. I heard myself sigh; this was going to be such a long search.

Even now I keep hoping that on my walk to the library I will meet up with her. I got there and looked around at the books we recently bought and it was a lot of them. Its annoying that there are so many books in the world but I cant even find the one that will help me. So every single book in here is useless, all these millions of books in this library are useless. I heard someone running around the library but didn’t pay attention to them. Mark will tell them to leave and why would I care about some kid running around. Suddenly someone pulled me towards them.

I apologized but he said nothing. I quickly walked into his library and I was amazed at how things are arranged in there... I walked along the walkway and I used my hand to brush through the book taking a glance at them. Then one book caught my attention.. It is titled 'The last survivors by King Jaywon' and there was a stain of blood in the picture... It is gonna be really horrific. I walked to where a reading table was placed and I placed the book on it. And I then proceeded to clean the Library.. There is even a fireplace and I am imagining how beautiful it will look reading beside the fireplace on a cold night. When I was done taking care of the library. I checked the time and it was fif

The records had talked about how to arrange the books, who was allowed to see what, and what I was entitled to. From the minute the King left and I began to read, I found that the job I was offered was huge. The library held records of the birth of every royal family member from the time of the first kings till now. Everything important to the kings that had passed was in this room. I felt small and inconsequential.

I stopped at the library door and smiled to myself. ‘Books are better than people. Books don’t hate on you for something you didn’t do.’ I pushed the door open and breathed in the wonderful smell of books. ‘Paradise.’ I strolled to the shelves and scanned through the books, reading their names off their spines. ‘It seems Dante wasn’t joking when he said half of his library was filled horrors.’ A book caught my eye, and I pulled it from the others. “Bone and Souls by B. Brian.” I read the name aloud and skimmed through the description behind it. “This seems interesting.”
