I laid there with my eyes closed as all the memories flooded back. It was like seeing my life flash before my eyes. I did not need air anymore, but I felt the need to take a breath. It was a lot to take in. I had a life with Anthony. I was happy. I had friends. I was loved. What more could I have asked for? But I did ask for more… for a life with him. My want had made a dent in our relationship. I was barely around Anthony these past two years. All because I asked too much of him. Then when he grants my wish, after I promised nothing would change how I feel… I deny him. I turned away… all because he loved me enough to tell the truth.

Life didn't use to be this hard for her, not until that stupid robbery happened. After unpacking for a while, she decided to take a little break. Good thing the next day was a Sunday, more time for herself. She placed her fleshy butt on the extremely soft couch and sipped on the orange juice straight from the box, laughing at a memory of her "friend" telling her the exact words "drinking from the box directly is bad, you don't know how many hands it passed through".
