It's interesting trying to make that work amongst humans. Water fairies tend to travel with the open water and the location depends on the season. It makes it a little easier to appear like we moved away for good, only to come back and find out the humans have forgotten about us for the most part. It's amazing what a name change and new hair do can accomplish. If we happen to get recognized, we hear the 'you remind me of someone' or 'you look familiar' lines, just for us to shrug it off and act clueless.
