"Save her?" Eric's laugh was pure ice. "By running her over first and playing hero after?"
The three of them crumbled. All that arrogance, gone. They knelt like they'd been doing it their whole lives.
Eric was done wasting words. He waved a hand, and three of his men stepped forward—one for each of them—and dragged them into the old factory.
