I dared not approach anybody because the consequences of having such audacity would be deadly. My eyes remained on the moon hanging in the sky, glowing softly. The moon wasn’t lonely, was it? The isolation it suffered from the moment it came into existence was something it probably was used to. But then, the moon wasn’t all that isolated because it had the sun behind its back reflecting through it. I related my life related to that of the moon. Even the sun rejected the moon sometimes, and there were times she refused to reflect. Perhaps the moon goddess was sad and decided to make others feel what she felt. She had favorites, and I wasn’t one of them.

But Lucien was the perfect servant, gathering sacrifices, stocking chaos just to unlock the final seal. Then Ophelia performed The Severing, where her blood spilled willingly, and that was his victory. The barrier was shattered, the veil opened, and he stepped through. He would unmake the world that had once dared to cage him. “They will call me evil. They will cry for their gods. But when their bones are dust and their temples ash, I will be all that remains.” As the moon shifted from blood red to black, the god took his first step into his new creation, wearing the shadow of the woman who freed him.

I'm not alone anymore, and goodness does it feel fantastic. So this is the final part of "Alone" and I can't believe it's over. It's the longest book I've written but it's also been so fun to write. I'm sorry to keep waiting for the updates. And thank you all for the patience, love and support!

The world needed Gods, just as it needed death, to give life a value, a purpose, to give it order, and the right amount of fear to suppress the chaos both kinds were capable of bringing upon each other, the previous Gods might have been unjust, mostly to demons, but at least they set an order, an ethical system with a lie that people clung on, a promise of reward that matched their deads, an illusion of hope and fear that tamed the monster in each one of them, the necessary evil, that is what she was, all while thinking that she was good, and she was, on a different and hardly understandable level, just like death, and just like nature rage, destroying an existing life just so a better life

It is new so tests won’t pick it up yet I’ll make an appointment to go see the doctor soon well in a week or two.
