Concerned, Jack gently jerked her shoulder, bringing her back to reality. “Hey! Where are you lost?” he asked, a hint of worry in his tone. As if awakening from a dream, Sarah blinked and turned to him. A smile slowly spread across her face, growing wider until it erupted into laughter. Jack furrowed his brow, confusion etched on his features. “What?” Finally, her laughter subsided, and she took a deep breath, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “You won’t believe what Lily just told me!” she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

“But it’s incomplete. Still… you can check it.” She handed Sarah a thin file. Sarah flipped through it desperately. Names. Dates. Orders. Her fingers trembled as she moved page by page. But then— The paper in her grip slipped as her vision blurred. No J.S. No Salvador. Nothing. Her throat tightened painfully. “Are you sure that’s all?” she whispered. “Yes,” the woman said gently. “I’m really sorry.” Sarah nodded weakly and stepped back. Her chest felt hollow. Tears threatened to spill, but she forced herself to hold them back.

After she inhales and exhales for about ten times or so, her claw finally shifts back into her hand and even her facial features soften. When Sarah finally opens her eyes, they seem a little sharper and more prescient. Even her voice sounds like her own when she speaks up, “I’m okay, Luka. Don’t freak out, I lost it for a little bit, but I’m fine again.” I smile but don’t let go of her face just yet. “I know, love. I’ll just keep you here for a little more until you’re ready to face the shitshow outside, yes?” Sarah lets out a humorless chuckle but agrees with my words. “Yeah, that’s probably for the best,” she grumbles before her eyes dart towards the staircase and she bites her bottom lip,

she let out with a satisfied look. Lilia looked confused, she narrowed her gaze at the pleased look of Natacha, "I don't understand, what do you mean by this?" She inquired. Natacha scanned around them and faced Lilai,"It's Sarah" she paused, "She is dead!" She announced.
