The luna trials Novels & Stories

The celebration from the Luna Trials continued long into the night. Bonfires burned throughout Knox-Shade Pack and music echoed through the streets. Children ran between houses carrying silver ribbons and moonflowers. For the first time in many years, the pack had something worth celebrating. Not a victory in war or the defeat of an enemy, but the rise of a Luna. Inside her chamber, Aria sat quietly before the mirror. The room was empty except for her. Her fingers slowly touched the place on her wrist where the silver runes had appeared during the trial.

"They're a series of three ancient tests designed to prove whether someone is truly the Luna, truly worthy of the ancient power she carries." "What kind of tests?" Aveline asked. "I don't know the specifics. The texts are incomplete, deliberately obscured. But the principle is clear. If a Luna can pass all three trials, the Council must acknowledge her as the True Luna and grant her protected status. They'd have no choice. It's ancient law, older than the Council itself." Hope sparked in my chest. "Then that's our answer. Aveline takes the trials." "It's not that simple." Morgana looked at each of us. "The trials are deadly. Designed to break you physically, mentally, and spiritually. In the

"The female general who broke through two fortresses wasn't Luna. It was ... Lane Conlay." "Lane?!" Brenda screamed, gripping the back of her chair. "Impossible! What about—" "Maris? Where is Blackwood Pack's Luna on that list?" "She ... she's not on it." "Are you crazy?! Say something like that again, and I'll tear your mouth apart!" "It's true! Not only is Luna not on the merit list, but people are also saying she was captured by Valkirk soldiers! When she was rescued, she was naked, her fur was shaved off, even her mate mark was covered up..."

Several rogues were running loose, and all women and children needed to be escorted to the pack house. "Your dad said you and Jessica had some sort of disagreement." He chuckled. "Yeah, I clearly lost." I deadpan. "I don't know, little wolf. Judging by the healing scars I saw on her face, you got a nice little shot in." He laughed lightly. "Little wolf? Scars? What are you talking about..." I didn't get to finish before Clayton hushed me. "Shhh!" Clayton whispered. He leaned into the wall, pulled the curtain back just a hair, and was looking outside the window.

Steady. Rising and falling with the practiced precision of a commander born to lead armies. Not soft Orion. Not the Orion who brushed hair from my face. Not the Orion who whispered reassurances at dawn. This was the Luna. The one the pack looked to when the world shook. Her voice swelled-briefly-into a sharper tone, one I recognized even through the haze. A vow. A promise. A command. My breath hitched. Even from this distance, even through a window, even muffled by the courtyard’s size-

[Elara's POV] He had kicked the sturdy timber dining table, causing me to jump as it fell to the wooden floor with a loud thud, shaking the decorations in the glass case. "What about you?" He shouted. "You simply wanted to be Luna, right? You knew Natalia and I were in a relationship, yet you shamelessly accepted the marriage and betrayed your own cousin sister by stealing her boyfriend! You lied to me. She told me everything!" I couldn't believe my cousin-sister. I had never thought she would do this. "I'm so sorry," I cried, starting to sob as I hugged myself tightly.

“Wren did say that the amount of wolfsbane in your body was lethal.” My baby almost died. Just thinking about it made me so fucking angry. I was ready to tear the world apart. “That’s weird.” Emma mumbled. “Not for you.” Drake smiled. “You are the True Luna. You can do what most wolves can’t.” Emma looked up at him and gave him a small smile. Jealousy burned inside of me. She shouldn’t be smiling at him. But what pissed me off even more was the way he was looking at her.

Just as I’m about to say something, argue that I wasn’t that good of a girl, Laura comes back into the room, this time with a line of crew members and cameras behind her. She grins at us once we’re looking back at her, clapping her hands. “Alright guys, who’s ready to film Luna’s choice?!”

However, queen Naya seemed very impressed by what Melina did. After thinking about what Melina had said, the people began to murmur among themselves. “Melina is truly a kind person, she deserves to the luna ” “She loves the Alpha so much, that's she is willing to take the blames for his silliness? Wow! ” “I wonder what spell that lunatic girl has cast on the Alpha, he keeps chasing after her like a lost puppy ” “She has our best interest at heart, she is the right person to become our luna, she is generous”

ELARA . . "You want me to do what?" I stared at Grandmother Isla like she'd lost her mind. "The Luna Trials. Three tests to prove your worthiness to lead beside the Alpha King." She spread out ancient scrolls on the table. "Hunt, combat, wisdom. Every Luna candidate must complete them before coronation." "Every candidate?" I looked at Kael. "You didn't mention trials." "I was hoping we could skip them. Given the circumstances." He shot Isla a look. "New mother, recent assassination attempt, already proven herself—"
