Novel & Cerita The Lycan King's Treasured Luna

"I don't want you to ever think that you're replaceable to me, Dana. I can't fucking live without you. Tell me you understand, baby. I wanna hear you say the words." My words come out as a breathy moan, but we're interrupted by a cold, loud knock on the door that feels like I've been submerged in an ice bath and cuts the moment in half. Carter's hand stills and he sucks in a breath when Mathilde says from the other side, "The princess would like to have a word with you, Alpha. Says it's urgent." "Fuck," Carter murmurs before saying in a much louder voice, "Tell her I'm on my way."

A few seconds had barely passed after I agreed when the door opened and a tall, lanky man with shrewd eyes and shaggy hair confidently strolled in, stopping short when he spotted me and the Lycan King. “Damian, wh-what is…?” The man stammered, his eyes bouncing from me to Damian. The Lycan King casually slid up next to me, placing a hand on my waist and grinned. “Lucas, this is Aviana, my Luna!”

Her breath caught. “Carol.” He lifted his head, voice cold and final. “I, Leonard Blackthorne, the Lycan King of the Lycan Kingdom, reject you as my mate and my Luna. May the Moon Goddess bear witness to your betrayal and to my heartache. We are done.”

She froze. “Have any of you recognized my Luna? Anyone? No one?” Derrick scoffed. Of course they were going to act like they didn't know her. He knew that. But he also knew the fear that he would have put into them with his sudden announcement and marriage. Meanwhile Alpha Blake froze in his seat. How had his missing daughter ended up as the lycan King's Luna?

"You'll soon be crowned, and you'll be my Luna." Her eyes flew wide on hearing that pass his throat. How on earth will she bear the pains of being forever away from the Lycan King? That can't happen. "But I'm already crowned as the Luna of the Lycans, I wasn't dethroned." "He will do that now that you left." He rubbed his palm on her cheek. She thought of that again, how easily the Lycan King would forget her and dethrone her all of a sudden.

Blake was sitting opposite me and I could instantly feel that he did not like his brother sitting next to me. “Xavier, meet the Lycan King Jolene, her mate Alpha Maverick, their children, Prince Harlan, and Princess Luna, and Harlan’s mates, Austin, and Cyrus. Luna is the child of the prophecy. She is also Blake’s mate,” Queen Helena tells him. He looks at us and smiles. His smile is amazing.

The stew's steam curled upward, smelling of roasted herbs and smoke, but nothing could pull my attention from the anticipation burning under my ribs. "I know Father" I replied. "I know exactly how to approach him." A proud, satisfied smile tugged at his mouth - one he never once have Hazel. "You better...as my strongest daughter. The one born to lead, you need this" Yes, I need this, not just for father but for myself as well. Bradley. The Lycan king. The man whispered about in shadows, feared on battlefields, rumored to be cursed by the moon goddess to exist without a mate.

Which I almost believe with how he gags around humans. Draco, is my wolf. Though not just any wolf. He's the Lycan King. Both of us in reign of the kingdom of Leaden. I came here with business, but as always I was just disappointed. But as the king I'm required to do all these things, even when they sometimes just want me to bite my own head off.

As soon as she left, I went closer to Cilia with burning questions for her. "Tell me who this Luna Queen is," I nudged her playfully. " A Luna Queen is more like the better half of a Lycan. She is the mate to our King. She is also human like you and he brought her here. She was made our Luna some days back," she said, smiling.

He looked at her eyes, her lips, the fading bite mark of his temporary claim on the back of her neck. His Adam's apple bobbed, a violent roll of suppressed fury. He swallowed the inferno in his chest whole. Then Luna's fingers brushed his wrist. Her index and middle finger pressed precisely over the frenzied pulse hammering against his skin. The touch was soft, warm, an unbreakable command that paralyzed every muscle in the enraged Lycan King's body for half a second. "Let me do this." She tilted her head up within the cage of his arms, her voice barely a whisper, yet carrying a calm that made his soul tremble. "Not to prove anything to them. For myself. This place is mine.
