Novel & Cerita The Lycan Prince’s Defiant Mate

Heads turned. He walked like he owned every inch of ground he covered. "That," Mirabelle whispered, "is the Lycan prince." My blood turned to ice. "That's him?" Sarah breathed. "Yes. That's Prince Theron." The words landed like stones in my stomach.

My birthday is today…it’s my ninth year…. The Lycans were snarling, snapping at my parents. Accusing them. Something about traitors. Something about a mate. Why’s everyone talking about mates? Lycans can’t mate with werewolves. Papa fell. Then, Mama. Both of them made a horrible, wet sound. Both added to all the red. Go away. Go away.

"He's my mate. Do you still need love if our lives depend on each other?" "Mate?!" Ive repeated in surprise. "Are you kidding?" Cia looked displeased with Ive's words. "Have you ever seen me that intimate with a boy?" This all makes no sense. Morgan and Ive could clearly smell the woods in Zeno's proximity. They knew that the man was not an ordinary human, but they were very reluctant to ask Cia this. Never mind them, Cia is confused by the destiny that Hecate has given her. However, having a Lycan mate is not that bad. Zeno has a gentle demeanor and his gaze seems to drown Cia time and time again.

Guests dropped their gazes instinctively-prey recognizing a predator. The scent of pine and storm swept in, primal and commanding. All heads turned. A man stepped inside, flanked by two towering guards draped in black and silver. He was tall—taller than even Reyes—with broad shoulders, sleek black hair, and eyes like steel. His aura was cold, ancient, and undeniable. Gasps echoed through the room. A Lycan. The Lycan Prince. He walked with purpose, eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on me. His steps slowed.

The Prince paced circles around Evangeline, studying her like a scientist observing a newly discovered species. “I should execute you all where you kneel anyway, for the insult of attempting to pass off an imposter as my rightful mate and bride,” he continued, cutting his piercing eyes back to me in the doorway. “But I do not wish to insult my mate's sensibilities with such a crass display. She’s skittish… shy. I don’t want her running off again.” I shivered under his gaze, his words landing like a heavy blanket on my shoulders. I’d heard tales about the intensity of the Lycan Prince. Stories whispered through the ranks of servant and elite alike. His merciless campaigns, cruel punishments,

“He’s just being an ass, and chances are that he’s doing it to piss Elias off.” “Why would that piss him off?” She turned to me like I’d grown two heads. “Because everyone knows that you don’t mess with a lycan’s mate.” “Don’t they teach you anything about us?” I shook my head. “Well, allow me to educate you for a moment. Most lycans are level headed. We live for centuries. It’s a lot easier to learn how to regulate your emotions, especially when you’re as strong as we are, but if there’s one thing that is guaranteed to piss a lycan off, it is perceived disrespect towards their mate.

It was like the shadows blurred for a moment, reaching for me, then Neoma said something that pulled me out of the craze of my mind. “You’re not afraid of him, Violet. Snap out of it. I don’t know how Neal got into our room, but you heard Aleric, it won’t happen again, and if it does… we kill him,” the finality in her words reminded me, I am not the same girl from that mating ceremony, I am not the same… Within ten minutes, Aleric’s massive lycan had us at the northern boarder and before I could see what Russ, Asher, and a few others were crowding, Aleric shifted and pressed me into his bare chest.

Lycans were not easy creatures to control, and even the females were hard to manage. Sophia was a royal female, strong, with a large wolf, athletic, and a plump shape that my people considered fertile. People said she was beautiful, but I never found her attractive. She was not my fated mate; I could never see anything beautiful about her, unlike how I saw Tara.

he asked, his voice laced with an unsettling calmness. Mason shook his head, his mind struggling to make sense of the situation. “No, I don’t. What the hell is going on?” “I’m a Lycan, a creature of pure energy, bound by ancient laws,” Ste-phen explained, his voice echoing with a raw, untamed power. “And you, Mason, are my mate. You’re the only one who can contain my power, the only one who can keep me from losing control.” Mason stared at him, his eyes wide with terror. “What are you talking about? I’m just a normal guy. I can’t control anything.”

the Lycan king said as he headed to where my mum was. He dragged her by her hair to where my father was. "Mummy!!" My sister and I shouted at the same time. I rushed to save my mother but was halted by the Lycan king. "Don't you take another step or else.." he said. "Olivia, don't come please. Stay back.." my mother cried. "I want you to feel the pains that I felt when you raped my mate to death.." he said as he tore my mom's dress open in front of the whole pack.
