The Lycan Prince’s Defiant Mate Novels & Stories

Silver was not very much lethal to Lycans, it would only cause pain enough to keep their beasts from performing a single action. “And where is your hunk of a Lycan Prince?” I couldn't help but notice her dull eyes as they searched around for Cameron. “Oh! He must have abandoned you after having his fill!” She exclaimed with glee after ensuring that I was alone. I noticed a few teeth were missing as she cackled like a demoness. It was crazy to see her try to hurt others while she was in so much pain. “Told you.” She let out another round of evil laughter. “Not one wants you, not even your mate!” She spat.

I felt a strange feeling of need and despair, as if I needed something to calm my nerves. Tristan poured another drink, his fingers brushing mine as he offered. "So, Veronica, who is this guy that's giving you so much trouble?" I took a sip and let the alcohol burn my throat before answering. "These are the Lycan Kings, Lucas and Simon." Tristan's eyebrows furrowed. "Ah, twins. They have a good reputation. And you alone." I nodded, feeling the warmth of the drink spread through me. "Yes. I don't think I want to bring it."

'Sis, that man doesn't deserve you, who knows how many things he has lied to you about and that little vermin Alaiah has been going around, telling people that she is the Lycan Queen," I growl involuntarily at the guts of that woman, she's not even his mate! 'Stay in the sunset pack, please,' I sigh, unable to say a word to Enrique. My breath gets caught in my chest when I see my mate, he looks gorgeous as always but agitated. Behind him are about a dozen warriors of his pack, others are in their Lycan form. I recognize Arya's Lycan, she is tall and imposing in her silver fur standing next to Dan. I feel hurt by their betrayal as well, however, I don't hold it against them. Focus, I suck in

The weight of his authority and dominance was a suffocating reminder of the power that he held, not just over the pack but over my very heart. "Say it," Anna's voice whispered venomously from behind Derrick as her perfectly manicured hand rested possessively upon his arm. She smirked, her green eyes gleaming with malice. My hands were shaking as Derrick's mouth opened, the words I feared like a death sentence falling from his lips. "I, Derrick Lashley, reject you, Lyra Morgant, as my mate.

This is definitely the most correct decision you have ever made. "Are you all crazy?" My father whispered angrily, "Do you think the Prince of Lyon will give up his partner?" Leon Logan is the one cursed by the witch, and only a mate can save him! Wherever we hid, the Prince of Lyons would send after us. Even the entire Moore family would be implicated! I ask you two women to think carefully about the consequences before deciding!"

Her eyes trailed over to mine, looking faintly. A dumb skull! My guard got the message as he stepped closer, lashing some whip on her face. She must be a newbie here, without a proper orientation of who she meddled with. “I’m the Lycan prince of this great crimson pack. You smeared irritating dark dirt on my luxury suit. Do you have an idea of how expensive it was?” I announced. There was a great fear running in her veins, as her skin went pale at the mention of who I was.

“Now the mating ceremony is complete. Our Lycan King, Alpha Dominic and Princess Vivian, are now proclaimed mates; Alpha and Luna of the Whitewolf Pack.” The Lycan King?! I nearly staggered to the ground. Holy moon goddess, save me! I could already feel the tears pricking the back of my eyes. The Lycan King rose to his feet, his form intimidating. I could feel his gaze burning through my veil. I prayed he wouldn't ask me to unveil myself. Maybe I could slip out and make a run for it before the mistake was discovered. But right at that moment, the door flew open and a regal-looking woman rushed in.

Every Lycan who has found their mate has it and it only gets brighter as they mark and mate with their chosen. His anger softened when he saw the tears glimmering in his mother’s eyes. “Oh, my dear Bryan…” His mother reached her hands up and he took them, squeezing them lightly. Everyone back in the Ortiz Kingdom had been worried that their future king didn’t have a mate since in the Lycan age, He’d spent a century looking for a mate. “You have to break the fetters of the mate bond,” Edric growled, “That’s the only way to win the war.”

, I answered, resting my chin on her head. “How can two people be so in sync with one another if they have mates out there that they haven’t met yet? The other half to them?” “How do you mean?”, I asked, wanting to coax more from her. “I have to tell you something.”, she began warily. Havoc was on high alert now, pacing. “Alright.”, I said, playing it cool even though I was feeling anything but. “My Mom told me that I’m supposedly the Lycan Prince’s fated mate.”, she said, her voice trembling a bit.

A part of me wanted to ask if he had ever looked at me and seen his daughter, or if he’d only ever seen a piece on a chessboard. My mother gave me a small, encouraging smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes. The music began, and I looked down the aisle. The humans sat on one side of the chapel, and the Lycans on another. Neither group looked happy to be there. Their hatred filled the room like a storm waiting to break. And at the end of the aisle stood my groom. Ronan Osborn, the King of the Lycans. His back was turned toward me. He didn’t look nervous, impatient, or even curious. Instead, he stood there like this was an obligation he had already finished enduring.
