Wood splintered with a loud cracking report and the door gave way, revealing the people standing outside with stunned expressions. Dust motes danced in the sudden shaft of light. The room itself was soundproof, yet the door had never been strong enough to withstand the force of the Lycan Queen. She was the Lycan Queen for a reason. Her strength was boundless, except for her brain. Levante, who had been sitting on a recliner, rose at once. His cold eyes scanned the room first before landing on me. Lily’s tail swayed when her eyes met his. The mark of the Crescent shone on her forehead.

"That's my son's mate and my daughter. I'm well pleased with her. She will become your queen and lead you as I do, she announces.
