Alfred stared at her as she thought about some things, he wondered since when she started to eat street food. Finally, the food was served, the aroma alone made ivory stomach groan.

Rose gasped upon seeing the signboard. This was a very popular but expensive restaurant. According to what she read, the cheapest meal menu cost more than five hundred dollars. Stacie smiled wryly on seeing Rose behaviour. She alighted and led Rose into the restaurant. "Hmm.." Rose inhaled the fragrance of the french fries and nuggets that assaulted her nose. Her mouth unknowingly began to water. "Over here?" a frail wrinkled hand waved at the duo. It was a slim lady wearing a beautiful dress with her scalp full of grey hair.

It held everything imaginable, roasted meats, soups, breads, fruits, pastries, cheeses, and enough side dishes to feed an entire household rather than a single person. I scoffed in disbelief. Madam Rosa really knew me, I probably should have screamed out, thrown myself to the bed and dug into the banquet in front of me, but today was different, I felt nauseous just by staring at everything in front of me.

The second course arrived: herb-crusted venison with rosemary, charred root vegetables, and black salt. Rhea smelled the rosemary before the plate reached Maddox and almost closed her eyes. He hated it.

“You’re going to look like a queen, Cel.” Celine smiled faintly, her thoughts racing even as she tried to focus on the moment. “It feels surreal,” she admitted. “Have you decided on the final flower arrangement for the tables?” Elena asked, glancing at her clipboard. “The florist is waiting for confirmation.” “The white roses and peonies,” Celine said without hesitation. “Keep it simple but elegant.” “And the menu?” Marissa chimed in. “Is it final?” Celine nodded. “Yes, everything’s set.
