The Mafia's Obsession Series 1 Novels & Stories

No daylight, no damn ventilation, just me, four walls, and the lingering scent of piss and betrayal. I wasn’t chained up like some criminal. No, they wanted me alive enough to bleed slowly. I clenched my jaw, as my thoughts drifted somewhere else with blood crusted at the corner of my mouth, the metallic taste making me growl. The only thing ringing in my head louder than the news broadcast was one word: Alessia and The White Book. That file was my damn insurance policy and my last resort to destroy everything that existed in the Mafia Family. A powerful ledger so vile, so goddamn explosive it would make the FBI piss their pants and make the Mafia run for cover.

The conversation was terse, brutal, punctuated by the occasional sharp command from Dante, to which the men responded with instant, unwavering obedience. Amara listened, her skin prickling. The raw, unfiltered nature of their discussions was terrifying. They spoke of violence, of intimidation, of retribution, with the same detached professionalism one might discuss stock market fluctuations. She heard hushed conversations about "sending a message," about "making an example." Her stomach churned. This was the true underbelly of the Mafia, stripped bare of any romanticized notions. This was brutal, unforgiving power, maintained through fear and bloodshed.

Thank you to everyone who has read it. I'm glad so many of you have enjoyed the story. Book two in the Mafia series begins after this point. Sick For Them It is a dark mafia romance. It is not the typical BXG and is MMMF romance. This story is one in which she is kidnapped, and the mafia saves her, and falls in love with her.

I bit my lips as I heaved a sigh, "The name on the file is Jaylen Noire Adryan, I am sure you are aware of that." "Yes, I am very well aware," Alexis put off her massage chair. How would anybody decide to just wake up and kill Jaylen, it's like signing a death contract and I didn't sign one. "And you want me to kill him? That man Is well protected, I am also sure you are well aware of that," I tried my best to be calm because I'm around Alexis. The person they wanted me to eliminate is one of the youngest, most successful and notorious mafia lords, Jaylen Noire Adryan. He is the king of the underground world and he is the kind of person someone like me would never want to cross paths with.

Damn, is this the mafia life and the reason why Dr Patrick doesn't want to get into it even though he's part of the family? *******

I tried to tune out but it just got louder. “Bring them out,” he commanded. Their grip on my skin burned and I couldn't help show the pain on my face. I tried to use my other senses to have a feel of the environment since the one responsible for the job was on a break. I could hear Diego's grunting behind me, I was a little bit calm, knowing he was near. My mind wandered far, on Alceo's brother words. ‘The new mafia leader will be so happy to see who I brought’.

“This wasn’t part of it…” He crouched beside her, his face inches from hers, his lips curled into a wicked smirk. “Oh, it was exactly part of it. You just didn’t read it…..poor little naive Seraphina,” he said mockingly. “This was my game from the beginning; my setup….my rules.” He stood tall and proud. “I’m Vincenzo De Luca, the Mafia Lord of Manhattan; I don’t lose, I don’t beg. Let me bust your bubble…. I take whatever I want…. And in my games I always win.”

My irritation grew as he chuckled softly. He took another step closer. Now there was barely space between us. “Then tell me how it works.” “You’re the mafia king,” I said quietly. “You order people around.” “And you obey?” “No.” “Yet you're standing here, right in front of me.” His gaze was intense, making my heart race. “Because I want answers.” “And if I don’t give them?” “Then I’ll find them myself.” A slow smile appeared on his face. “Dangerous promise.”

he asked “The one by the mall, the one in the north where that parking lot is facing…” “That is my best spot, Andres… you cannot do this” Manuel whined “And the east side that is free from the cops. You should be grateful that I am allowing you keep your life, you will bounce back and make sure I never have to take up arms against your family, is that understood?” “You have a deal” Manuel said, sighing. The once strong mafia lord, felled by his own children; thankfully I never did love kids so I wasn’t going to worry about having any with Catherina because I wanted none.

Leaving me and Lucio standing on the patio laughing at the pair, I mean it had been so hard and dangerous over these past few years, but in the end, it was worth all of that to be The Mafia Boss’s Deepest Obsession. ~~The End~~
