What were you saying?" "Master Arcus left me a book, Magix of death and life." Sil looked at him wide eyed. "Isn't that the book about Necromancy?"

For this reason, they lived in a very humble condition, even though they were mighty magicians. The magician couple's children were three. None of them wanted to follow the wizard's path, as they assumed they would be miserable like their parents. The older one was Igor, he was intelligent but sometimes too bold. He had black long hair and already had a small beard. The second one was Allan, he was aromatic, energetic, and I trusted people effortlessly. He was very similar to his older brother, but had medium hair and no beard. The last

But instead of old stories from my grandmother’s life, the pages were scrawled with strange symbols and sketches—shorthand in her handwriting explaining the purpose of different runes and sigils. Flipping through the pages, there were sketches of wolves, and the last page that she’d written in had a detailed rendition of a nightmarish wolf-beast that made my blood run cold at the sight of it, it’s eyes smudged over with charcoal in the shape of a protective rune. My heart raced when I realized what I was holding. This was no ordinary journal, it was a spell book.

“He came here for the book.” I opened my eyes. “The book?” she narrowed her gaze at the words. “What book are you talking about?” “Reggie died last night because he practiced magic.” I said, with a shrug of my shoulder. “Actually, last night ought to have been the ascension ritual, but Reggie found a way to delay the red moon for a week. So Eric wants me to give him the book because he believes that the spell to undo what Reggie did is in that book.” “And where is the book?” she asked, in a curious tone. “Do you have any idea where it is?”

Truly the magic of Chaos is subject only to the descendants of dark magicians who came to us from another world ruled by demons and their minions. My mouth went dry. The fingers gripping the bars of the grate were white with exertion. Yes, we all heard about the last war, which ended a little after my birth. Her reminders lived next to us, like such creatures of chaos, gradually mutating and adapting to our world. But, like August, I have never met magicians who are subject to chaos. -And you think I can control chaos? I asked, managing my emotions. “Pr

I was a little afraid she might burn the school to the ground, but Maggie had left her in the care of Mage Jaye herself, so at least it would be the head of the council who would be responsible to make sure that everyone didn’t end up charred by the new charge. “I’m not sure what’s wrong with her,” I said to Maggie. “She is probably the strangest person I’ve ever met.” “Yeah, me, too,” she said. “And I’ve met a lot of people. She doesn’t really talk. She doesn’t let go of me, like ever. And whenever she gets upset, she flips out. I can’t tell if she is just a strange girl who happens to be a mage or if it’s because she’s a mage that she’s so strange. I don’t think it’s the latter. I mean, I’

I nodded. "I understand." I said to her and I left the same way I came. Observer's POV This got more interesting than I thought. I never suspected Kate, the Spears housekeeper, to be a ruler of the night. The young girl definitely looked extremely innocent to be suspected. This new information gave me a chilly feeling about the mole we have in our midst that works for Sage. Anyway, a lot has been on both at the Magical world and the human world. I asked or more like blurted out whatever I could think of. "That's a good point. I have no answer to that. I'm going to look for old tomes that have information about dragons but I won't keep my hopes up. Wizards are not great at documenting things but I'll look into it." Head Magus replied. "Can I join you?" I asked hopefully. "No, the library I'm going to is only for those with a Head Magus position. Are you a head magus?" He asked slyly and I shook my head helplessly.

When I stood in front of the book, the first page turned on its own. "First lesson of the Seven Magics Academy," Pops said, eyeing me. "You must never touch any of the pages in the books in this room. Touching them will increase their speed of deterioration." "Then, how?"
