As I drifted off, my mind began to weave a dream, or rather, a nightmare.
In my dream, I was back at the country club, but it was different. The grand buildings were crumbling, the sprawling lawns overgrown and wild. I was alone, the laughter and joy from earlier replaced with an eerie silence. I called out for Noah and Chris, but my voice echoed back, unanswered.
Suddenly, a faceless man appeared. He advanced toward me, his smooth voice sinister. “I finally have you. Did you enjoy your sweet morning without me?” he asked, his words echoing around the desolate club.
