Kris laid in bed, eyes wide, staring at the ceiling. She never experienced that type of dream before. It felt so real. She thought about the events as they played out in her dream. She was giving a tattoo. It was a beautiful design she made specifically for Elena. They kept locking eyes, making it too hard for her to concentrate.

There are so many questions in my head, but I couldn't find the answer. I chewed my bottom lip after I shut the door. Could he be the man in my dreams? That's impossible. She reached over and slapped a hand on the snooze button and then focused to make sure she was in her room. She blew out a breath and tried to shake the fog from her mind. That explained a few things. The dream was so real, but not at the same time. Too bad, really. That man, Dominic, her mind had invented was quite nice to look at. No more chocolate caramel popcorn for you before bed, she thought as she slowly sat up.

For an old man, he sure has bragging issues. His brow arched slowly, as if to ask ‘Really?’ in reference to what I said in my mind no doubt. I frowned deeply, “Stop hearing my thoughts!” I rebuked, for the nth time. I just can’t with this man. “Also, how did you know about my dream? I swear Cassain if you have yet another power at your disposal I’ll lose my fudging mind.” “What if I say…I do?” This sly old man! So, he can read into dreams as well?

I looked around for Nora after a while but couldn’t find her anywhere so I decided to send her a text, “Where are you?” She almost immediately replied, “I sneaked out with someone. Don’t wait up for me. Have fun, and I love you.” I rolled my eyes and headed back to the bar, but then something, or should I say someone, caught my attention. It was the man from my dreams, walking out with another woman. This can’t be? It was just a dream. The man can’t be real, can he? I needed to take a closer look at him. I decided to follow them out of the club and watched as they got into an expensive car. Why does that man look so familiar? I know I saw him in my dreams, but something else seems familiar.
