With a speed that belied his age, he lunged toward the nearest torch and swung it down, scattering burning oil across the stone floor. Flames hissed and leapt upward. “Stop him!” Graham shouted. Ronald and two warriors rushed forward, but Marcus twisted away with the grace of a wolf. He darted through the smoke toward the side door, his silver sash flashing like lightning. “Seal the exits!” Graham barked, but Marcus was already gone.
