Until Joshua dies, I will have to worry about Alexandra and Rayne’s wellbeing, and it terrifies me to death. Hours began to pass by as we waited for Alexandra to get out of surgery and I began to worry how extensive her injuries were since it was taking so long. Marian gets up and walks over to the little coffee stand and begins to make herself a cup of coffee. The door to the waiting room then opens and I notice two men walk in and I could smell their scent from across the room. “Demons.” I said to myself.

I left the table abruptly and left the college grounds running to the forest which is only fifteen minutes away from the university. This forest is called McDonald-Dunn Research Forest is mostly used for the university instruction and research. Though the area was huge I did not risk a shift, I just wanted to get away from there to think. My wolf was silent and confused. I can never mate with a human, EVER. I howled letting out all the anger I felt. When I reached the dorm in the evening, no one questioned me where I went. The look on Saxon’s face told me that he knew about my mate.

The thought tightened something inside my chest. I lifted the untouched champagne to my lips, mostly so no one would notice the way my expression changed. She spread a blanket made from animal skin over it. Then she added another smaller blanket on top.

Xandra replied playfully. "But he rejected me!" I exclaimed, shocking Xandra. "But he could still feel the mate bond," Xandra countered. "And that's it? How is that possible?
