And each lesson survived strengthens the line of the Red Moon.” Mara muttered, smirking faintly, “I think surviving bridges and shadow monsters counts as character building.” Dren whispered, finally calm, “Maybe… I can do this.” The shard pulsed warmly in my hand. I realized it wasn’t just guiding me—it was teaching, shaping perception, and preparing us for trials ahead. I grab some wooden logs and stones and start building a labyrinth with several exits, all of which lead to fire and only one to safety. The scorpion, slowly and hesitantly, begins to walk along it. Suddenly we see the scorpion disappear behind the stones slowly, while the fire grows in intensity. We all remain a good twenty minutes in silence looking at the fire and wondering if the scorpion had met the fire, or if it would have suddenly appeared from some exit.

As JK in that very moment and time realizes that he is within the future and the loop of seventh. “Interesting.” Now from the knocking sound of death and blood in between, the cursed book that the other holds are paving the road to the different, yet the same tragic blood end that ‘HE’ paid with and they must complete. “It is about to start.” She coldly whispers as a slowly swirling hole of darkness was formed inches away, but specifically and directly unto her eyes. She coldly smiles bowing as she reached her hands near and towards the pale hands that are slowly emerging from the hole with the distinct mark around its writs indicating a guardian's symbol of Scorpio, yet more than that.

The only noise they could hear was from birds chirping, beasts howling in the forest, and rivers flowing through hard rocks. "Miss Milburn!" They both called in unison when she passed out, her temperature dropping until she remained like an ice rock. When Patrilia and Kelvin had started pacing back and forth through the thick forest, thinking about what to do, a bright light shone above them. They both looked at each other and gasped as strawberry scents touched their noses. They looked around, but they couldn't see anything or anyone. "Hello." One of them called when they heard feet shuffling around them. They couldn't see anyone.

The sunlight hits Hector’s skin, which feels like it is on fire as it blisters up. “I know it hurts. It’s ten times worse than a grease fire burn. You can run the maze now or give it a few seconds to get used to the pain, then run. Either way, the cloak stays off until the five minutes are up. Your time starts once you enter the maze.” Hector tries to ignore the pain and runs back into the maze. Rex turns the hourglass over and waits. Learning from past mistakes, he goes left and then takes the next two rights. Another fork in the maze: straight or left. The pain is getting to him, and he can’t focus on anything. He lets out a cry and then runs to the left.

“You should focus on the trials.” Then she gets up and goes to bed. "I would like to be alone, for a while. Is that okay with you?" she asks, and I nod. "Of course." Hours later, the horn sounds, alerting the beginning of the next trial. We are herded into the Hollow Grounds, a maze of shifting stone and creeping mist. We are told to retrieve the relic hidden within the labyrinth. There are nine of us entering the maze. "The fog whispers. It crawls into your thoughts. Feeds on doubt. Be vigilant." These is the elders' word of advice before the trails, and they were right.

I didn't avert my eyes. I let the gold scroll hum against my skin. "I'm exactly where I need to be," I said. The mountain groaned beneath our feet, a low rumble that started in the core of the earth and vibrated through our bones. The Trial had begun. The purple fire of the archives reflected in my mother’s eyes as the first spark of the Forge ignited behind her. "We shall see," she said. She turned and walked into the flames. I followed.

He replied, as he had crawled and took the blade to his blood-covered hand. A sneer then coveted the greater portion of Ramsy's expression. "Have at it, Higgins, I beseech you." He said, as he stared down the chaotic scene that he concluded one human could have wrought. "You're the only one now that can find how to deify me." He concluded, as his gaze froze. It had melted as he finally scaled the climb of stairs that paved his way out of the dungeon. The scout's hands quaked as they clenched unto each other, ready yet reluctant to lead the blade between them through the inquisitor.

I then aggressively threw my arms out and shot open my eyes, letting out my full power as I screeched up into the sky and ascended. With my magnificent wings fanned out, I levitated into the air. I then screeched even louder, and my body began to shake when it became engulfed by electrical flames. I could hear my screech as it echoed through the woods. Suddenly a faint screech replied, then another and another, until all that could be heard was the screeching replies of other hunters. The echoes were getting closer and I smiled as I thought to myself, they're coming for me. ***

"You two are not the focus of this. It's all about me, and I'm the one who must deal with the consequences. Thus, give up fighting and begin to assist. A surge of blazing light swept across the room as the mark on Iris's wrist abruptly blazed before either of them could respond. They shielded their eyes as the walls started to crumble and disintegrate, the whole place trembling as if it were going to collapse. From the emptiness came a deep, ancient voice, its tone resonating with strength. "The last trial starts." The ground beneath their feet vanished as the dazzling light engulfed them.
