Dagger of the Blood Moon

Dagger of the Blood Moon

“What’s life without a little danger, Pack Dog? Keeps things… interesting.” The team pushes through, sweat-slicked and breathing hard - silver spikes erupting from the floor, forcing Torin to leap; a pressure blast knocking Mara back until Reed hauls her clear; a shimmering ward net that snares Keira, her claws shredding it as I slice the anchoring runes with my dagger. The ruins test us relentlessly, magic old and vicious, but we move as one, my rogue instincts meshing with pack precision.

Contracted marriage with the Alpha Prince

Contracted marriage with the Alpha Prince

Lauren remarked, her eyes narrowing with a knowing gleam. Turning her attention towards Elder Orsen, Lauren sought approval and guidance. The wizened elder, a repository of ancient wisdom and keeper of the pack's traditions, nodded sagely. It was a silent acknowledgment that the trial had reached a crucial juncture, and it was time to let the final act unfold. "Let the final trial begin," Lauren proclaimed, her voice echoing with a blend of authority and anticipation. ---- [Mellisa’s trial] I blinked my eyes, trying to make sense of the surreal surroundings. A magnificent castle surrounded me, its grandeur juxtaposed against the haze of confusion clouding my mind. It felt like I'd stepped in

She Is The Luna

She Is The Luna

“You should focus on the trials.” Then she gets up and goes to bed. "I would like to be alone, for a while. Is that okay with you?" she asks, and I nod. "Of course." Hours later, the horn sounds, alerting the beginning of the next trial. We are herded into the Hollow Grounds, a maze of shifting stone and creeping mist. We are told to retrieve the relic hidden within the labyrinth. There are nine of us entering the maze. "The fog whispers. It crawls into your thoughts. Feeds on doubt. Be vigilant." These is the elders' word of advice before the trails, and they were right.

CHAINS OF ETERNITY

CHAINS OF ETERNITY

Seris stopped at the edge of a cracked chasm, her gaze narrowing as she peered into the shifting darkness ahead. Her voice was low, solemn. “We’re here. The Trial is close.” The mist swirled like a curtain parting, and Kael saw it then—a vast, ruined coliseum rising from the eart h, its jagged walls reaching into the sky like teeth. The First Nightmare Trial awaited. ☠️ End of Chapter 11

Lyrcan wolf the daughter of a sinners

Lyrcan wolf the daughter of a sinners

So this is part two of the contest! We will put you inside of the elder maze separately and each room has a higher intensity of gravity and each of you will need to fight with a guardian fighter and the ranking will be based on how long you were there inside of that maze. It means the one who walked outside through that maze earlier would be in the lowest rank. We will give you one day!" "I want to ask?" I saw the sinner's daughter raise her hand. And all of us look at her. "There's someone attempt to kill me and put me into the maze and being there inside is scary because it has a huge earthworm creature that eats a person. How sure are you that we will survive inside?" Xandros' granddaught

Scorched by Fate: A Daughter’s Rebirth

Scorched by Fate: A Daughter’s Rebirth

The thin, faded fabric did nothing against the cold, and the wind slipped right through. The courtroom was in chaos. Voices clashed. Finally, the judge lost patience. He turned to them. "Neither of you wants custody of your eldest daughter?" The room fell silent. An eerie, unnatural stillness. My parent's gazes flickered, shifting uncomfortably. They didn't want to seem unfair, but they also didn't want to be the one stuck with me. They hesitated, stalling for time. Now, everyone was staring at me. My throat tightened. I lowered my head, hoping no one would notice the ugly scars on my face.

The Unloved Luna

The Unloved Luna

“The first trial will test your physical strength and endurance. You will race against time through the forest, navigating obstacles along the way. Only the fastest will succeed.” Xavier and I exchanged determined glances, ready to face whatever challenges awaited us. Luke explained the rules, and I felt my heart race in anticipation. This trial was just the beginning, and I was determined to show Alpha Luke that we were deserving of his trust. As the signal to begin rang out, I pushed myself forward, my heart pounding in my chest. I had come too far to let fear or doubt hold me back now. I was ready to prove my worth and claim the Blue Ridge amulet for our cause.

The Last White Wolf & Her Chosen Kings

The Last White Wolf & Her Chosen Kings

Daiera POV We wandered the stone halls of the keep after breakfast, the four of us in a lazy line, digesting both the food and the weight of what was coming. Auren walked close beside me, as usual, asking a million questions. “So, in these trials,” he asked, tilting his head, “will they be tested on... like, empathy? Or is it mostly just stabbing things and doing push ups?” I snorted. “There’s a maze with moral choices and some tactical obstacles. It’s not about brute force. We’re trying to build leaders, not bloodthirsty idiots.”

MY SCARRED LUNA

MY SCARRED LUNA

Screams and shrieks scattered around and I fell back immediately in an attempt to save myself from the flames. The weird sisters who were still in the form of the Mother demon screamed the loudest because it had lit up in flames. They screamed and thrashed around and I had to roll away from them. She landed on my car next and the vehicle went up in flames. Suddenly, the Mother demon went up in the sky and escaped at a speed that I was not expecting. What was left of her children from the burning flames went after her, hoping to escape the flames. I was still on the floor when warm hands grabbed me. I looked up to see Selene looking down at me.

One of the best novels I’ve read in a long time. The author surely knows how to keep the readers attention and produce a believably wonderful storyline. Just as you think you know what’s gonna happen you get a curve ball. I will be excited when the rest of this story is completed.

The Underworld Trials of Luna

The Underworld Trials of Luna

Several of the girls standing at the top of the pillars shriek and scream as the steadying hands leave their shoulders. I gasp and cry out, reaching for them, but of course no sound comes from my mouth. Orion reaches for me, wrapping a hand around my arm. “Juniper, no,” he says, his voice grave. I turn to him, pulling at his arm, my impulse still to go forward, to stop this, to do something. The Prince shakes his head. “It’s – the Trial has begun. To interrupt it would be death.” He shakes his head, apologetic and devastated. I cry out again, silently, and turn to face the girls, terrified for them.

awesome continuity... please if you continue for the other characters, show it in the description like you did for the book 2. there's another book with the same names of Ellie and Dominic and I was confused. I really hope there's a Rafe and Mark book.

The story-line carried well throughout the entire book until the ending. The ending seemed abrupt, rushed and lacked content/drama that could have been built for additional spin offs and left too many things unaddressed.
