Patricia let out a deep sigh, her chest rising and falling as the memory washed over her. Just yesterday, everything had unfolded in a way that felt almost surreal, and she was certain that even as time passed, the vivid moments they shared would forever be etched in her mind. The emotions and sensations were so intense that she wouldn’t be surprised if they haunted her for years to come; the past lingered like a sweet perfume, intoxicating and impossible to ignore.

"These are all your memories." I gulped hard. All memories were filled with bloodshed and death. It was gruesome to look at. Suppose I was scared to look back at them now. I had done so many foolish things in the past. Some were out of impulsive thinking, and I could do nothing about them now. The guilt I would feel reliving them would be gruesome. "Ah, here is one,"he said, stopping at the door.

Memories, like elusive phantoms, danced at the edges of my consciousness, teasing me with glimpses of a childhood long gone.
