Magnus: Dragon Prince

Magnus: Dragon Prince

“I don’t even know where Eric is going to be bringing the mead, so we are going to just walk around aimlessly until we find him?” Rex said after a short time of Minet leading him through the palace grounds. “Hardly” Minet replied softly with a head shake and smile, “you should be smart enough to realize the northern gate is the closest to the merchant section of town, if I was to bring something here, I would take the shortest route possible.” “F**k me, I can’t believe I didn’t think of that, today has been a long draining day for me” Rex replied, slapping his forehead, he had already been through the gate earlier, headed toward the merchant district.

This is actually a book! Most of the things I read on here have chapters consisting of 800 words or less This on the other hand has chapters that are 2k words on avg. plus the content is amazing. It could use a better editor cause there are a few gramatical errors, but overall, its my favorite book!

Very good world building, intriguing story, and decent characters. I'll be honest, I was just glad to find something on this app that wasn't smut. can't wait for more chapters, I've become very attached to the storyline and want to explore the world more.

Luminous: The Throne

Luminous: The Throne

A wad of cold fear formed in her stomach. “What gate?” she asked, confused. His smile widened beneath the cracked mask. “The Gate of Collapse.” A ripple of horror spread through the room. A Noctis envoy shouted, “That’s a myth!” A Solaris judge protested, “That gate cannot exist!” Ariadne stiffened. “Explain yourself.” The assassin stretched his fingers, corrupted luminous dancing between them. “The Gate is real. And only one soul can unlock it.” He pointed at Alessia with two fingers. “Yours.”

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Rejected for Her Curves, Claimed by the Blood Alpha

Her copper hair floated in the brine like a cloud of blood, and her skin was etched with the very first Rejection-Codes ever written by the West. "The First Mate is the Anchor of the Debt, Sun-Walker," a voice boomed—the High Magistrate Elara, her form now appearing as a ghost of silver-mercury within the glass walls. "To pass the One-Hundred-and-Second Gate, you must prove that your bond with the Blood-Alpha is not a repeat of the Original Error. You must survive the Resonance of the Sunken Mate". Suddenly, the brine in the cylinder began to glow with a lethal, Cyan-Violet light.

A Second Life Inside My Novels

A Second Life Inside My Novels

"The merchant decided to go home but was caught up in a terrible snowstorm. He tried to seek shelter against the largest tree he can find and try to fall asleep but with the howls of wild animals plus the deadly cold, the poor man couldn't bear to fall asleep." Cathedra realized she had been holding in her breath by the time Miss Yumi flipped to the next page. It was morning now, but still the grounds were covered in snow that it was hard to tell the path to home. "By the help of the sunlight, the merchant noticed an enormous castle within walking distance. Deciding to take his chances, he set off for the heavy metal gates surrounding the castle and went in."

The Alpha's Ruined Mate: Awakening the Lycan Queen

The Alpha's Ruined Mate: Awakening the Lycan Queen

Natalia yelled, leaping from the platform down to the iron joists below. She grabbed Dmitry by his uninjured shoulder, hoisting him to his feet, while Kael dragged the remaining trackers back through the shattered front doors. Behind them, the main alembic collapsed in a roar of tearing metal, the remaining violet sludge pouring into the deep harbor drainage channels instead of exploding into the sky. As they stumbled out into the cool, gray morning air of the Black-Water docks, the warehouse behind them gave way with a muffled, structural groan, the roof caving in to bury Grand Vizier Malek and his alchemical secrets under tons of black iron and slate.

My Second Chance Mate is a Barbarian

My Second Chance Mate is a Barbarian

"Two gold. And you keep your mouth shut." "One gold and five silver," I said. "And I'll buy a bottle of your best malt to go with it." The merchant laughed, a dry, rattling sound. "One gold and eight silver. And the malt is extra." "Deal." I dropped the coins onto the table. He wrapped the pendant in a piece of rough deer-skin and handed it over. I tucked it into my bag. It wasn't enough. I still needed the malt. I moved deeper into the market, toward the specialty traders. I heard a group of women talking near a rack of dyed wool.

The Evil Fae Meets Her Match

The Evil Fae Meets Her Match

As they downed the potion, Alizeh repeated the phrase, “We are one with the earth. Let us appear to serve.” They walked through a gate, without even a glance from the guard. Alizeh had a nagging feeling that there was something about the guard. He was cloaked in black, covered head-to-toe. There was no way to get a good luck. There was no time to dwell on it, they had to keep moving. It didn't even matter, at this point. She shook it off, and kept walking. When she finally looked at her surroundings, she gasped. There were small huts everywhere. She walked through the center of the community. She realized that she was in the middle of a market. Vendors sold pottery, fruit, vegetables, herbs,

Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer

Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer

That was all the letter said. She huffed in annoyance and turned to the two servants, squeezing the envelope in her hand. “Take it back.” The two girls looked at each other in shock. “What?!” they chorused in unison. Neither of them could believe someone was openly rejecting their Alpha’s grand gesture. Althea threw the crumpled letter to the floor and spat, “Tell your Alpha I don’t want flowers. I want to go home!” She turned back into her room and slammed the door in their faces.

He Called Me Weak, Now I Hold His Fate

He Called Me Weak, Now I Hold His Fate

The figure regarded him silently for a long time before replying, “Few who pass the Veil return. The gate demands sacrifice. Something equal in worth to the life it restores.” Varic’s voice was a growl. “Then I’ll pay it.” The figure’s hood lifted slightly, revealing the faint suggestion of a smile. “We shall see.” It lifted a hand, and the mists parted. A pathway of molten silver stretched into the distance, winding toward a towering gate of obsidian. Symbols pulsed faintly along its surface—runes he recognized. The same that were etched into his sword. “The Gate of Echoes,” the figure said. “Beyond it lies the world of the living. But beware what returns through it does not return unchange
