CHAPTER 1 Butterflies in the stomach turn the mind and soul into the joyful space of the moon and the stars. Mhhh! Stars… The beauty ,adornment and embellishment of the stars... Stars are born as soon as the sun goes to be breastfed by its very own mother everytime it sets down, and I can say that's what elucidates broad daylight and the night. Commencing something beautiful is a natural,cosmical feeling, it's a beautiful feeling that no one can pass the question easily, writers and poets still can't pass that expressional answer, it's a mystery!

I said as I took a breath. “No child. You are not alone anymore. You have a mate standing beside you. The moon and the stars make up the night sky together. On a full moon, the stars seem to barely glow, but on a new moon, they take center stage reminding us that the darkness will end. Be there for each other and shine brightly when the other can’t.” Pearl squeezed my hand, and I was holding back tears.

The sounds of the party faded into a distant hum, until it felt like we were the only two people in the world. Late that night, the full moon spilled its silver light over us, a blessing from the Goddess herself. My new life had just begun.

She quickly searched something. Her hands trembled while looking at the screen. The new lunar month was going to start tomorrow and therefore today was no moon tonight. She looked up at Xavier who's eyes were glowing and his fangs were ready to attack his prey. Star didn't have much time to think. She quickly got up and walked towards him who was sitting on the floor breathing heavily. She sat down set to him and cupped his face. "Go.... away." Xavier's breathing was ragged. He didn't want to hurt her and it was difficult for him to control his inner demon.

" Stacy said everything that happened just now, her mother coaxes her and said ''Stacy you have plenty of time to lure max, don't worry, just enjoy tonight. You know you are beautiful enough to make anyone fall it just time is not a right baby girl." Stacy confidently said, ''Yes mom you will see one day Max will fall for me."

Tieran’s pov. The city skyline stretches out into the distance, but there’s no sunset. No colorful clouds and yellow tinged fluffs rolling by. The sky is dark and a solitary moon hangs there, shining reservedly. The few stars around try their best to twinkle, but the moon isn’t in for any of that tonight. My mind tells me it moves away just a bit, so it can add distance between it and the stars. The realization hits me. That’s what my life feels like right now. I don’t know if I'm the moon, or just one of the stars trying to outshine the moon, but I know one thing. Like those stars and the moon, I’m alone.

She looked above her head. The moon was still shining under the darkness and stars were sparkling everywhere. “The moon is too beautiful. Look, a full moon.”

Then maybe Newtown wouldn't have been the cage the dove was unknowingly flying back into where the starving tiger had been asleep for years and was about to wake up even more hungry than he was before. My legs trembled as I made my way over to the corner of the bed where the window stood, I hugged my arms as I stared at the stars, they looked as bright tonight as ever. For some reason I thought about him and all the things he would have said to make me feel terrible, to make me forget about everything I was and hate myself more. Pushing the thoughts of him away, I focused on the moon, I had forgotten how intriguing it could be, I had forgotten the mystery around its beauty, I forgot its power, its power of light and creation. It was just a star with many faces, the face of the Moon Goddess. The face of the Moon was a beautiful thing, so beautiful it made one dumbstruck, it reminded me of m

Toward whatever fate the Moon Goddess had written for them in the stars. Forever.
