I stepped outside and realized I was still within the pack territory. Then suddenly, I froze. The sky above me was not a normal night sky. No. It was painted in deep shades of red—dark, pulsing, almost alive. And hanging in the center of it… dominating everything… was the moon. But not a silver moon. Not even a red-tinted one. It was a Blood Moon. A full, heavy, impossibly bright Blood Moon. My breath stopped. My entire body locked. A sharp, instinctive terror pierced through me, so strong and sudden that my knees nearly gave out.

I replied while staring at the moon. The moon was incredibly beautiful tonight. Maybe the moon looks beautiful to me every time I look at it. The only beauty that’s immeasurable. “Is the moon the only thing you find attractive tonight?” Grace responded and looked at me with her big blue colored eyes. “Hmm, look at you taking the first step,” I chucked and she pushed me lightly. “And who said I wasn’t romantic. Do you know how many romance-related books I’ve read over the years?” She murmured.
