The day had already been well underway by the time I made my way into my classroom. The one person who was waiting for me was Liam, my best friend and part of our trio. We always jokingly referred to ourselves as the "three musketeers." My usual seat was already occupied by none other than Liam, who had carried a longstanding crush on me, Remarkably, despite his feelings, our friendship remained steadfast and unaffected, a testament to the bond we shared. I hear he only likes redheads with fiery attitudes and strong character plus the green eyes.”

The pillow beneath my cheek was soaked. Just then, the door opened. I jumped up. “Leo?” Disappointment crashed over me—it wasn’t him. It was Musa. “What the hell are you doing here?” I sobbed loudly, not trying to hide my tears at all. Musa studied me, then sighed. “You probably should go get your man. He’s been drinking, smoking… he’s tipsy. And a fan girl got him talking—she seems sneaky and all that. He might give her a chance and—”

He bowed before leaving, and then he left before pausing at the door. “It slipped my mind, master, but the musketeers requested to see you.” He informed. “Where are they now?” “In the garden.” “By this time.” “It isn't quite dark milord.” After he left, I had a change of clothes and walked to the garden. The musketeers were there, having a mini picnic. “You wanted to see me.” I said as I got to where they were. “You’ve been scarce these days.” Ivana said. “And you look like you’ve lost a little weight. Come sit and have something to eat.”

The Musketeers were waiting in the hallway. Sophia, Madison, and Claire blocked my path, their expressions triumphant and cruel. “Well, well,” Sophia said. “The little seducer himself.” I tried to move around them, but Madison stepped in my way. “Where do you think you’re going?” she asked. “We just want to talk.” “I don’t have anything to say to you,” I muttered. “That’s too bad,” Claire said, pushing me backward. “Because we have a lot to say to you.”

Just as we are about to cross the finish line the car stops and the driver, I think he's name was Ben, ahh I can’t remember opening the door and I completely forget about the game because I see my two best friends standing by the log double doors waiting for me. "Jake, Selena, ahhhh!" I scream from the top of my lungs, slightly scaring Ben and Dylan. I race forward, jumping on both of them, sending us crashing to the ground, "I missed you guys so much and I missed all our pranks" I say gleefully. In unison the three of them all scream "The three single musketeers!" "I missed you too Charl" Selena said while hugging me, practically crushing my bones while she's at it.

‘Stop your riddles and say clearly Rose’, I spat the words. ‘Erica...Erica...Erica, you always had a problem with power. First, Raphael when he made you a workhorse, now, me for not spilling my guts faster. It’s ok though, as this will be your last conversation... I will tell you. You know, as a friend’, she said sarcastically before continuing to reply to my questions, ‘so, where was I? Oh, yes, children. Me and my brother. Where does Sophie fit into this?’, she tapped her finger on the Chin and said, ‘right in the middle of it. We are... the three musketeers’

We will see.” I flashed another smile at her, knowing how much it annoyed her. She rolled her eyes at me and turned to her other two musketeers. “Let’s move, Ladies.” Ugh! Those two, following her around like they had no life of their own.
